She conned me into believing that my check was sent and so was the other employees. All were lies. My check bounced and they never received theirs. HR Vice President. It is against the law to pass bad checks and even worse to not pay at all.

I hope that Kelly Services learns that you are truley as disgusting as your husband.

I am sure that the letter to your Beach Club and all the other lonely pathetic houswives will make you feel better while we try to place our lives back together. I hope that our money buys you and your children great gifts this holiday

Because of you and your company's actions we may not have the same joy.

Thanks for stealing the money I worked for and the others worked every day for you, and I will no stop until we are all paid and your disgusting faces are known throughout your community as theieves because that is what you did you stold our wages. You and your husband and Jeff stold from my children. I dont know how to tell them that, but being a mother you should be able to come up with a good one. I am sure this is not the first time.

Maybe the first time you were caught but I am sure that my kids would like to know what you people have as an excuse. You see if it was your house burnt down we would pray for you and help build you a house, If it was a tragedy we would have been there but that is not the case you hurt good people and for no reason and for that you should be punished shince doing the right thing is not part of your character.

#4 UPDATE Employee

Doubtful

AUTHOR: Eric - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 15, 2013

I was hired a few weeks after Anna left so do not know anything about what happened before I arrived but something strange must have been going on.  When I started, people would stop by “looking for Anna and Larry”.  When I said they no longer were working at Pick Pack but was there anything I could help them with, they would look into the warehouse say no and then take off.  They did not look like they needed fulfillment services if you know what I mean.  After three or four weeks people stopped coming by I guess the word got out but I probably had 15-20 people stop by “looking for Anna and Larry”.

I worked at Pick Pack for over a year and while the business grew over that time there was never a need for more than one person working there.  No way would you need even two or three people. I was able to handle all the orders by myself, easily at when I first came on.  By the time I left it might have made sense to bring on another person just in case, but they could have continued with one person for probably another 6 months after I left.  I left to take a job at another warehouse and was always treated well by Pick Pack and never had a problem getting my pay.

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

My name is not Alex

AUTHOR: Alejandro - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, April 23, 2013

I dont know Anna DeJesus and barely remember even meeting her but she seems like the type of person who hears one thing and then believes something else crazy.

I am not in a gang and have never been in one.  I came to this country after college and enjoyed my time working at Pick Pack.  By the way my name is Alejandro and only people that dont know me would call me Alex.  I was always paid on time by the company and gained a lot of experience working their.

Maybe you just didnt understand the pay scale because it might seem complicated to someone who doesnt have any experience, but we were paid a straight hourly wage, then had numerous bonuses based on labor charges, profitability and they always paid a Christmas bonus.

I also helped Jeff clean up the mess you created at the warehouse and dont know why you would ever need to hire two people.  First the business was just starting out and then was little orders to process.  Also like down in Los Angeles you would have used temp people to work if things got busy not hire people.  I think the most people that ever worked their was two.

We figured that you did not know how to use WorldShip or Endicia even thought you said you were familiar with them.  But even if you didnt the company would have trained you on them as they trained me (when I got to Pick Pack I did not even know how to use a computer but now I can).  It only took about a week to learn.  But we figured that because you had really messed up that customers business because you messed up his orders you were just covering your tracks with these postings.

You should really not lie on your resume and just ask people if you do not know how to do something rather than this stuff.  And Michelle has never been involved with the business.  The only time you would see her is at the yearly employee BBQ or if she came by the warehouse to see Kent which was rare.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sorry Anna You Made it All Up

AUTHOR: Kent S - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, April 23, 2013

Anna, I was the one who had to clean up the mess you created and I am still convinced that you were doing something illegal and/or immoral at the warehouse as I found numerous strange things when I got there as if you or someone else was running different businesses out of the warehouse.  And that is why you posted these things in order to scam us and cover your tracks.  It is a fact that you or someone else used company resources on some other type of business as we found the evidence.

We had been hearing some strange things coming from the warehouse in Northern California and when I decided to get on a plane to come check it out do you remember?  I told you I would be flying up that day and you said Ok, and then immediately sent an email saying you were quitting.  We never saw you again, only received emails saying you were not paid which is baloney as you state in a previous post here on ripoff that you were paid.  But just to refresh your memory you were paid $1,387.56 check #1176 and $1,387.56 check #1291 for the one month you were employed.  What I saw when I got there would have led to your termination.

You lied about almost everything on your resume including that you had managed a rental car location.  We figured if you had managed a rental car location you could handle this job.  You failed at the job because you did not have the experience you stated.

Alex is not in a gang and his name is Alejandro (it is Alex on his email and that is for customers shows you dont know him).  You have no clue how our incentive structure works at Pick Pack.  There is no way we would have given you or anybody the full ability to hire and manage.  One because it is obvious that you have no clue what you are doing.  Because you have no experience (and lied about your experience) you didnt know that what you did was illegal when (and if) you hired 2 men.  When you hire someone in California you have to get their paperwork, W-4 and I-9, then you need to inform the State as well as set them up with their workers comp and other benefits.

As a matter of fact I dont even know all there is to do which is why you send in the new hires to the bookkeeper and she takes care of it.  You did all this of course, Not!  You didnt because you made it all up or had people in the warehouse working for other business (what were you doing?).  You also knew that if you needed help we had set up an account with a temp services agency to supply warehouse workers when we needed them.  But if in the future you wish to continue acting like you know what you are doing you might want to check out this government site on what it takes to hire employees http://www.edd.ca.gov/Payroll_Taxes/FAQ_-_California_New_Employee_Registry.htm.

As to having full ability to manage?  What a joke, you were hired to work FOR THE company not WITH THE company whatever inexperienced nonsense you wrote means.  The only thing we can think of is that you believed that you could do anything you wanted there, which would explain why other people might have been working at the location for some other companies.

You never brought in business as business came in from our Google Adwords.  Your job was to show them around when they came to check out our services.  And yes since again you didnt know what you were doing you sent them out contracts without the pricing sheets as the contracts do not have pricing on them.

If you paid for shipping it was because you did not know how to work Worldship and Endicia (even though you said you could) and stated that there was no printer cord although you did not know that the USB cord that was in the box could be used.  We dont believe you paid for any shipping out of your pocket as one of the only clients we had at the time said that none of his orders were shipping, which was why I was coming up to look.

When I got there the place was a mess with papers strewn everywhere like there was a rush to get out (there was even a large 5 pound bag of pretzels open in the office which is kind of gross as warehouses tend to attract rats if food is not kept secured).  The computers and printers were not set up and working and the warehouse racks had been set up improperly (not to OSHA code).  As you remember I would call frequently during the month to ask if you needed any help and you always said, no I have everything covered.  Except for these posting you have no evidence that you hired anyone, that you paid for shipping, that we did not pay you or that you ever communicated any of this to us.  We can only imagine what you were doing and any way were just glad to get rid of you and whatever you were doing up there.

We have had dozens of employees over the years and have always paid everyone what they were owed (including pay, bonuses etc.).  We have never had any major issues with any employees (some minor but that is with any business). You know Michelle had nothing to do with the company.  We know the reasons you made these postings but you can be assured that we have no interest and only wish to continue on with business and forget you.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

We wish the best for Ms. DeJesus

AUTHOR: Kent Steffes - ()

POSTED: Thursday, April 18, 2013

Ms. DeJesus is an extremely disgruntled person who was hired and then terminated within 30 days.  She was paid everything she was owed.  If she feels she was not we would be happy to pay her what she thinks she was owed.

We did not run an ad in the local paper but used Craigslist.  Alex is not in a gang and has never been in a gang.  He is a terrific guy.  When she says the others were never paid we are at a loss as she was the only one there.  Her resume lead us to believe she was capable of the task.  We were wrong.  We are not sure if she paid for shipping out of her own pocket and do not know why she would because we have an account with UPS and USPS.  We did learn later that she did not know how to plug the label printer into the computer so if she did pay for shipping we would be happy to reimburse her.

Jeff was not involved in any of this and Michelle has never worked at the company, she works for another company, Ms. DeJesus is just being vindictive.

We wish the best for Ms. DeJesus and hope she finds employment at a company where she can make a meaningful contribution.
