I was employed at the new Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill in Kemptville ON and now very happy to be gone from that disaster. I've been working in the restaurant and service industry for many years and have never seen something so disfunctional. The restaurant is owned by two old drunks that know nothing about bar/restaurant industry. The owners are two old loosers that have never owned or worked in the restaurant industry before, but now think they are the smartest people in the world and know everything about everything. The owners lied to me and many others about the hours I would get and then continuously screwed me and the others on our hours and our pay checks. Since they can't pay their bills, they take it out on our pay checks. They are way too busy drinking all day while backstabbing and badmouthing each other, the customers, people in the community and the other restaurants in town. If people in town and customers only heard they way these two idiots talk about them and badmouth them once they leave the restaurant they would be shocked. Don't waist your time going there for a job you will regreat it. One is old, weird and quirky (Mike Healey) and the other is just old, fat and stupid (Jeff Underhill), but they both think they are big time ladies men and like to be around young girls as they were obviously denied that in their youth. If you see what they married and settled with, you would understand what I'm saying... Take my word for it and stay away from the Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill in Kemptville, ON.
