Millennium Travel promised a free 2 night 3 day trip including airfare, hotel, and some expenses, if you listen to their sales pitch. You get to pick 3 places and 3 dates, one of which they choose for your free trip.  After 6 months of waiting and 2 of the 3 denied our final one was for sure.  We were quite suprised when we recieved a bill for $1,600 when it should have been free... taxes and surcharges they told us.

Do not have anything to do with this company, they are cons with fine, fine print and wording.

Con games come in many forms

AUTHOR: Tony - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, February 08, 2010

I too live in Asheville and got lured into a sales pitch and was given the free vacation as a consolation upon declining to sign up for a time share.  A year later, I finally received my "free" vacation offer.  I guess I got a real steal, mine was only going to cost me close to $700.  This company is an absolute shell game and you will not get what you believe you were promised.  Check section "E" on the back of their brochure.  This is how they turn the free vacation into something  totally different.  The references to fees, taxes, surcharges, and others leaves the door open to charge you what ever they want. Watch your back with these people.  And you would have to think that any company that would use them to try to get you to buy their product is either aware of their tactics and therefore unscrupulous or stupid.  You don't want to do business with either of these types of people because the result will probably be the same.  You are better off keeping your money and using it to buy a trip with someone reputable.  It will probably cost less than the "free" one and you will know what you are getting.
