This company is irresponsible and did not do the job in the time frame/price range as quoted. Two packers came one day before the move: they talked more than they packed! wasted time and we paid by the hour. One was the foreman and he said he would continue the next day but he did not hold to his word (said the owner was watching him too closely and he could not finish beyond the hours negotiated on my contract).

On first day of the move, 1 young worker came with hangover and could not work-workers said he was allergic to my cats. He was vomiting outside (not allergy to cats!). One lady packer tried to replace him. This also contributed to the work not getting finished on the one day allocated (with 2 trucks).I had to call the Windcrest Police at origin and San Antonio Police at destination. Owner bullied me and my 89 year old mother in my home (at origin),making false and loud accusations against me in my own home. I called Windcrest police and he ran away.

Movers loaded truck to destination and owner again came over to house and started yelling at me, telling me to pay in advance (which I wrote on the contract I would never do-only pay on delivery of services). Owner told workers to drive off with my goods in the truck. I called San Antonio Police to come to robbery; they came quickly to charge of "disturbing the peace". Owner ran away.

He continued to harass me and the workers, interfering with the work so that it could not be completed. I offered to pay up to that point and the rest on completion of the job. He then said it was ok to proceed and I agreed to pay at completion of job. Workers started acting up: sat on my living room furniture falling asleep, did not work, would not place my furniture where I told them; threw my clothes on the floor of my bedroom in a big sloppy messy wrinkled pile; left everything astray so I had to hire someone else after move to move things around, sat at kitchen table talking and laughing and not working.

There were lots of damages. Foreman said he would report them. I heard nothing. I sent letter after letter of damages, and boss said none were received. He made sure none were received. He said he had no knowledge of any damages. Eventually after unpacking, we found our most valuable painting 6 ft X 2 ft in size (no easy way to lose it) was not delivered. They said they don't know anything about it. I have to take them to court. At end of this horror-move, I called lawyer to ask what to do; and lawyer told me not to pay all. He advised $800. I paid generously $900 (out of $1300 requested, but it was before I saw all the clothes thrown in the floor).

This is a really bad company, with really low quality workers. Our beautiful things have traveled all over the world without damage. Yet this company could not get them from the east side of San Antonio to the west side and keep them free from theft, and bad damages, breakage.  They are not worthy to call themselves movers and how they got their rating from BBB, must have been through a pay-off or a relative!

Even during this dispute, the owner left San Antonio BBB and switched his Business to Austin BBB. I don't know where he has it posted now. This guy is a big sleeze-bag who spouts Christian praises every 5 minutes. Use this company at your own risk and be fore-warned. They are the pits. I have to take them to court to try to recover, especially our valuable painting which has been in our family since I can remember.
