on sunday evening9/26/04 I attempted to order the FREE SAMPLE of the diet patch paying ONLY 2.95 for shipping.

After entering my debit card and other personal informationa on the e-form, and clicking the submit button..

I checked my checking account and noticed there was a debit in the amount of $157.00. I rapidly made an attempt to contact My diet patch to make them aware of the error.

I did not opt to order a 3 month supply Only the sample. I called my bank and was given a ph#800-327-7804 for the merchant to call on the next business day to cancel the order, as this amount was not agreed to.

When I finally contacted a rep. on Monday 9/27/04 at 10:50am est., I spoke with a rep named Richard at 800 901 1182 ext 100. on a recorded line. It was too late to cancel the order.

Richard advised me that my order had been shipped already and that he would refund 73.50 of my money with in 5 - 15 business days, and if I agreed to at least try the product for 2-3 weeks, he would refund the rest of my money after I return the rest of the patches if infact, i did not see some change or did not want the product.(mind you, Richard asked ME how long I thought it would take for the product to work??? It's your product, you tell me I replyed!!)

He went as far as giving me a conformation #rap383133. After 16 business days, I did not get a refund. The only thing i did get was a RASH from the patch.

This evening 10/19/04 at5:26 est. I called 800 901 1182 and spoke with Sam who advised me he did see Richards attempt to refund my money but it for some reason, the attempt did not go through.

He asked me if I cancelled the credit card number, no I did not. He advised me to email credits@mydietpatch.com and I would get a reply with in 24-48 hours. That web address can not be located. This is all I could come up with( Your search returned no matches for "credits@mydietpatch.com" )

I attempted to call back to speak to a supervior, the line was busy and suddenly, the office was closed. I am frustrated and feel voilated.

I no longer have faith in internet purchases. I am a single parent and can not afford to be ripped off of 157.00

I need some help getting my funds back. I give my word, I will go to the gym from now on lol

If you have asked for a refund and have not seen the credit on your statement, please send an email to Operations@MyDietPatches.com -- Please include your name, telephone number, full address, and you will be contacted within 48 hours to make sure your refund request gets processed.

All refund requests will be honored & will happen within 14 business days from the day we get your full contact information.

Our company applauds Rip-off Report and their commitment for helping customers.

Without them we would have never known that there were customers still waiting for their refund to get processed.

I to complained about this place and to date I received some of my money back, but not all of it. This was the response that somone posted to my complaint....

When calling the customer support center as the both of you did I to was told to e-mail their credits department. The only difference I I was able to get through to them. I have added some other means of trying to get to in contact with them. Good Luck!!!

I still haven't recieved my refund today (10/22/04) is now a month since I cancelled my order and have been waiting since 9/22/04 for my refund that has not come through. How much longer am I expected to wait and please do not respond with the same message that you have with the last 2 e-mails I have sent you asking for my refund. According to the last few responses from your department you have manually run my refund (2 times now) and stated the merchant was behind. How behind is he??? This is way too long to wait for a refund.

I TOO, ORDERED FREE SAMPLE OF DIET PATCHES FOR 2.97.

I DID NOT READ ALL INFORMATION.

I RECEIVED AN EMAIL THANKING ME FOR MY ORDER.

I TRIED CALLING NUMBER LISTED, WAS TOLD THEY WERE NOT TAKING ANY NEW ORDERS.

I FINALLY GOT THROUGH IN AUGUST, SENT PATCHES WITH LETTER CERTIFIED ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2004. I HAVE RETURN RECEIPT.

I TRIED CALLING SEVERAL TIMES AFTER SEPTEMBER 10. COULD NOT GET THROUGH.

I RECEIVED MY RETURN RECEIPT SHOWING ITEM SIGNED FOR BY KATIE (LAST NAME COULD NOT BE RECOGONIZED.

I CALLED AGAIN, AND AGAIN. FINALLY ON OCTOBER 28, I GOT THROUGH SPOKE TO EDDIE, HE TOLD ME TO EMAIL CREDITS@MYDIETPATCH.COM.

MAIL WAS UNDELIVERABLE. I HAVE A CUSTOMER NUMBER.

I AM TRYING AGAIN TODAY TO GET THROUGH.

I WILL SEND ANOTHER LETTER WITH COPIES OF CERTIFIED RECEIPT, WITH NAMES OF PEOPLE I SPOKE WITH TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

THIS IS HORRIBLE, MY RESPONSE WAS THERE WAS AN ERROR IN ISSUING MY REFUND.

HOWEVER THERE WAS NO PROBLEM IN CHARGING AN AMOUNT TO MY CARD.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.

I AM A CANCER PATIENT IN REMISSION FROM LIVER CANCER, I CAN NOT TAKE ANY DRUGS, EVEN NATURAL.

WHAT CAN WE DO? IF WE CANNOT GET A REAL PERSON ON THE PHONE, THEN IF WE DO, THEY DO NOT TELL THE TRUTH, GIVING FALSE EMAILS AND SUCH.
