John Shoemaker of KC Tub and Counter LLC did some very poor work for me and was fired. We had a dispute. That dispute was settled. Even after the dispute was settled, John continues to harass me and ask for more money outside of the dispute agreement. He's attempting to leverage these online forums to make me pay him money he did not earn, nor deserve. John is a self-proclaimed bathtub refinisher with questionable credentials and has a hard time differentiating between high quality and low quality workmanship. Unfortunately, his poor quality of work, lack of professionalism, and poor decision making are factors that contributed to the separation. This guy is still ticked off about being fired and is trying to make me look bad.
My company buys homes that have had poor maintenance and restore them to like-new condition. The home that John is referencing went through a 6-month complete renovation process which would not be considered a quick flip in this industry. The home also was not condemned so John's statement again is false and inaccurate. We do not invest in condemned homes. Most homes that go through a renovation process are used and have a certain amount of wear and tear due to poor maintenance. Many homes that need renovating have pet stains and odors. That's the nature of the business. We remove any imperfections in the homes and make them right. Our homes are inspected by qualified professionals, sold with full disclosure statements, and the buyers of our homes are always happy. We go the extra mile to make sure corners are not cut. John was fired becaues he cut too many corners that does not align with our business approach.
John Shoemaker has no creditionals, fact, or proof for the statements he is making online about me or my company. On the contrary, I have document proof of why John was fired. Google search for John Shoemaker and his company KC TUB and COUNTER LLC and you'll find the RIPOFF Report that I published about my experience hiring his company. If you plan on doing business with John, think about what he is attempting to do to me and my reputation. Is this the kind of person you want to risk doing business with? Also, I'd highly recommend checking his credentials. His website makes a lot of promises, but I'd suggest doing your research on this guy before you hire him.
