We got a sales presentation from a rep in Ohio about this company.

We're a small businesses trying to collect on 3 clients who never paid their bill for all the work we've done for them.

The rep will show you an online presentation, with a very nice marketing presentation, which is designed to fool you in many ways. You can tell the rep is actually reading a script, and going really fast on certain point, so that you can be mislead easily. We actually interrupted the sales guy every time something sounded shady, and found out a lot of their sly practices. Here are some examples:

* They have a list of companies (including banks, credit companies, etc...), which they present as if it was a list of their customers, but once questionned about it, the rep said that it's a "list of companies which industries embrace their practices".

* For the whole 15 minutes of the presentation, they introduce their service as being $90 flat fee. But you'll find out much later that to get this price, you have to pre-pay 100 (yes one hundred) collection cases; and that there is actually a minimum of purchase of 10 collections at $180 each !

* They'll show you a "money back guarantee" certificate, but they will not tell you and nowhere does it show that this only work if you buy 100 collections! Only if you have the idea to ask the question, which we did because we realized from the get go that this company was all about misleading potential clients

* I can't remember about all the other ones, but the feeling was pretty bad. Oh yeah, the rep pulled a bunch of reference letters from various companies, which wordings were very suspicious.

So in the end, we wasted 1 hour of our time, in a presentation for a company who tried to force us into buying $1800 service to collect 3 invoices of  $1000 each!! And the sales rep knew from the very beginning that we were only interested for 3 invoices.

I too have been scammed by NCSPlus

AUTHOR: Michael - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 20, 2010

I was also given the presentation but I unfortunately, signed on for services. The company representatives made two trips to my office and evaluated my delinquent accounts on both occasions. They finally convinced be to enroll in their service. I informed them that the accounts I was turning over would need to be taken to court per the description of their services and that I was certain the account wouldn't pay just because they received a letter or letters. I was told each account would need to be served the letters first, and then they would be turned over to the attorneys for legal action. The letters went out as described and after 6 month no accounts had been turned over to the attorney as promised. After 10+ phone calls 5 accounts were transferred to the attorney for review. At that time I was told the balance due was too small for the attorney to bother with. The balances due ranged from $100 to $300. I informed them the ONLY reason I enrolled in their service was for these accounts that they reviewed prior. Then I was told they would go to court, but I had to wait 90 days for review. A year has gone by, not one account has been taken to court. The accounts in question haven't had any action for 7 plus months. I've requested my money back since they are failing to provide what they promised and they are refusing. Their 400% return should have been one of many warning signs. Run don't walk away from this company.

Lynn did you even read this report

AUTHOR: Teresa - (U.S.A.)

It's a good thing you didn't purchase any service from these people.

Lynn responded as the owner of the company and she doesn't sound like she knows what is going on with her business.  She also sounds like she is just trying to give herself good PR.

Lynn did you bother to read this report before responding?  They didn't purchase anything from your company.  So please tell my why they would call to get info on the accounts from you?

Collection Agencies Cannot Guranartee Collections On Specific Accounts

AUTHOR: Lynn Goldberg - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 29, 2009

No one can guarantee collections on specific accounts. The representative did you a favor by selling you a system to chase your three bad accounts instead of pressing you to buy a complete package. You should have contacted the corporate office of NCSPlus Incorporated for a detailed action report on the three claims you submitted. Perhaps they were all heavily disputed or out of business. Maybe they should be sued.

That is unless you are a competitor of ours whose aim is to try and give us a bad name.

We have too many excellent references for that to work.
