We made a deal on a new car and we wrote a $1500 check for the down payment. They could not get financing at a payment we needed so we cancelled the deal and they were to destroy the check. They instead deposited the check and we incurred $100 in fees from our bank. The dealership accepted responsibility but will not follow through with a reimbursement. They will not call back.
