Old Navy/GEMB/Resurgent Capital Services They kept adding on charges to a credit card after I paid the balance and late charge. Then they sold the account to Resurgent Capital Services. El Paso Texas

I opened the account with an $18 purchase for underpants from old navy, my one and only purchase using the card. I paid off the balance and late fee on line $29 dollars, and asked them to close the account! They never closed the account but kept adding on charges that came up to $163. Then they sold the account to Resurgent Capital Services.

I have proof that I paid Old Navy for my one and only purchase plus the late fee.

This negative information is on my credit report and I need to get it off!

GEMB will not fix it unless the complaint comes in via the Office of Thrift Supervision. They will play stupid and pretend they know of no reason why you felt it was necessary to contact OTS to resolve the issue

GEMB WILL EVEN LIE to the OTS in their replies at the same time.

GEMB did the same with my JCP card - sold bogus debt to Resurgent

as for dealing with Resurgent - go to www.budhibbs.com
They are junk debt buyers that paid pennies for that same debt and try to get you to pay the full amount

This website is a consumer advocate site that works for you!
Collection Agencies do not want you to know about this site

Send them debt validation - they cannot provide so have to cease collections
They do not get the necessary debt validation with debt.
