 Sorry to say this buddy but I didnt bet you anything. Your reading comperhension is off. Look at the title of the rebuttal it will tell you who posts it. Funny you take a picture of a box and thats proof of them giving you a free pizza? Wouldnt a reciept be a better bit of proof. If it was free then there would be a reciept showing a $0 purchase. Then you would be able to claim your "prize". I owe you nothing and stand by my post.

 I received a phone call this afternoon from papa .ohns corporate office. I was given another coupon code. when I ordered and applied it, it gave me a free large 3 topping pizza. I took a picture of the label on the free pizza label that arrived to prove uy. it sats free pizza per hq. Now that you lost yhe bet tyg, what do you owe me besides an admition that you were wrong?

How much do any of tou want to bet that I WILL get that free pizza?

However, since you are so keen on specific directions and terms..here they are..

I am not talking about you complaining to Papa Johns and them just giving you a free pizza as a "Customer Service" issue. 

You MUST file a suit in a California Superior or Municipal Court(and I am including Small Claims). 

You MUST provide the Court Location and Docket Number on this post.  Including the Court Date.

You MUST properly serve the suit to the appropriate person at Papa Johns. 

You MUST prevail in court by having a Judge rule in your favor, a "default" judgment will not be considered a ruling in your favor.  An "out of court" settlement will not be considered a ruling in your favor.

You will scan a copy of the entire final court order showing the ruling on this site.

You MUST do this whether you prevail or do not prevail.

You at any time decide to not go through with this you MUST post that you have decided to stop pursuing this.  However, if at anytime this happens or you fail to provide updates you will have been considered to loose the bet.

Now if all of those conditions are met a mutually agreed upon place will be choosen(in lieu of that the US Postal Service can be used) and the looser of this bet will send the winner a $25 Papa John's Gift Card.

Oh and no I am not now or ever have been an employee of Papa John's, I just can't pass up a sure thing.

I found one of the versions of this commercial on YouTube so search papa johns Superbowl and listen tp what he says he says. "call up and give this code and get a free pizza " Period!  As you state there was no information on the screen, this means that when you called you were given the information. In order to qualify for a free pizza you needed to do X. You DID NOT do X so you dont get a free pizza. This isnt rocket science. They tell you when you call how to get the free pizza. You wont be getting punative damages, as you DID NOT SUFFER. Go ahead and call your lawyer Im sure they need a good laugh. Its funny because its stupid.

Your interpretation of the ad is what is getting you into this situation. And just so you dont think youre going to win, let me point out to you, that what YOU have done IS ILLEAGL!! The web is by definition a MEDIA OUTLET. YOU have posted a negative review with no basis for the complaint OTHER then how you interpreted it. What you have done, legally speaking is take a full size ad out in EVERY printed publication. That makes what you are doing fall into 3 catagories.

Since youre so keen on spouting law, look up Slanderous Speech, Defamation of Character, and Character assassination. These are all crimes YOU are NOW guilty of. If ANYONE has a RIGHT to punative damages, its PapaJohns. They have MUCH better lawyers then you can ever afford. A little critical thinking goes a long way. How EXACTLY are you supposed to ENTER a code over the phone? It looks like the entire promo was meant to be used online only. So Staceys information is NOT ONLY CORRECT, But the CORRECT way to redeem the free pizza. So all you have done is show everyone that reads your post that you are HIGHLY childish and immature and have no base in reality.

Try to pay a little bit of attention Honey. Im I'm talking about what he said on his TV commercial not what the directions on the website say.

 This is about them having to show up or pay someone to show up in a California Court for their false ad. How much you want to bet that they will be more careful next time. I am telling you the complete truth. The ad was only 15 seconds long and all he had time to say was this exactly: Call today and use coupon code PJMVP and get a free pizza. That's it. There was a large graphic behind him that said FREE PIZZA.

In California, when you file a complaint with the department of corporations, the company you complain about is automatically chatged $250 by the state to covet the cost of investigating the complaint and the dept of insurance does the same thing. This will cost them if they don't give me the free pizza that was offered to all eho who call.

Here is a thought.  Could you even be the slightest remote possibly that you mis-heard the ad, or just ignored the part about getting the pizza after spending $15?

No of course not, you are going to claim that you were listening and watching the commercials intently..you might even say you were "glued" to the screen.  After all you must have had some ESP that if you did you would be rewarded by a magical code to get you free pizza.  Yea..that is so much more logical.

How does this work in YOUR state, most small claims courts do NOT allow Punitive damages..it takes a lawsuit for that.

Let us know, here on Ripoff Report how that works out for you.  It may be that since you're not actually out any money that it will be disallowed in small claims court.
