Thank-you for a fast reply! My wife Karen and I hope that you can help us. As of next week we will be unable to make our tax payment and they are going to start proceedings to take our home away. Karen and I have been fending off bill collectors and come next week will be the ultimate loss.

All because of a person that was scorned 10 years ago and who has POWER and PRESTIGE on her side. Like I wrote, Karen and I are both disabled, standing and walking for more then 20 minutes to 1/2 hour is increasingly painful, to outright tears.

We have years of documents/letters and notes to prove what we emailed you. Last year Steve Levee's office listened and got us a refund that Mrs. Patricia Hoversen claimed for doctors bills. I wrote him and complained after having tried rectifying this gross abuse of child support at their offices. Levee's office got us a refund "IN LESS THEN A WEEK! IT WAS OVER 3 THOUSAND DOLLARS" !!!! IT SAVED OUR HOUSE LAST YEAR!!!

Karen and I are frantic!! We can not go on much longer, we believe that the child support system has been grossly abused by Patricia Hoversen! Patricia Hoversens position with the state of NY and her ability to access documents and information in her position gives her a great advantage to abuse the system. Her knowledge and prestige in her position with SUNY Stony Brook can give her the ability to carry out her goal to create as much hardship as she can on us. Karen and I also worked for SUNY Stony Brook and believe that and investigation is in order on the conduct of Patricia Hoversen and her ability to use her access to New York State records, and the ability to devote as much time as she likes to carry out her goal to destroy us!

Below is a copy of a letter that I have sent to the District Administrative Judge Hon. H. Patrick Leis III & Thomas J. Spota Suffolk County District Attorney. :

My name is Paul W. Hoversen, I am 55. I am divorced over 10 years, I am disabled over 6 years now and my second wife, Karen (54) has lupus and is also disabled (you may know her as Karen Hansen, X wife of James Hansen of the Mt. Sinai Fire Dept. their children are Bill, Jamie and Tracey Hansen, all still living at home).. We live at 18 Puritan Avenue in Mount Sinai, NY. My X wife, Patricia Hoversen (living at: 103 Roosevelt Avenue, Port Jefferson Village, NY 11777), vowed to destroy me and after 10 years she has done a good job of it! With in the last year I have had cars reproed, bank accounts taken away and 2/3 of my SS garnished. Electric, water and phone has been turned off many times and as of this email we are in great danger of losing our house. Most important is we have little money for our medications, food and heating oil!! Karen and I are now destitute because of this one person. The X wife works for SUNY Stony Brook (in a high ranking position) and makes more then $80K a year (plus other jobs), she lives in a house (that my father and I built) in Port Jefferson Village that is worth over 350K. We had two children together, Thomas, NOW 23 and Krysten now 19 soon to turn 20 !!

Patricia Hoversen had Thomas declared ADD disabled at 18, because of this I am still paying for him. Thomas did not graduate high school but yet about 8 months later his mother gets (buys) him a high school diploma, not a GED!! Here is a man that is declared ADD disabled, a problem child in school, gets kicked out but yet in the end his mother gets him a degree?? Krysten is in collage (SUNY Buffalo) and besides being and honor student and getting grants both my children when they where born had 100K college annuities opened for them. To this day I do not know where this money went to?? Thomas is very smart but very lazy, his mother hates him because Thomas reminds her of me. She only keeps him around to collect the money. Thomas has a car and delivers pizza and also car hops (making tips of $200 on a good night, his words) all off the books! Thomas sleeps in her basement and avoids his mother as much as he can because she is so mean to him.

Thomas also has told me that his mother gives him no money. Thomas talks to me while Krysten hates me because of her mothers brain washing, I have not seen or talked to Krysten in years. Patricia Hoversen is a very smart lady with a CPA and real state license, she makes undeclared money on the side. Patricia Hoversen knows lots of important people and can pull lots of strings. She vowed to destroy me and has made good on her threat. I lived in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years, I was the chairman of Public Safety for 10 of those years and graduated from the second class of the Suffolk County Citizens Police Academy. I am a collage graduate and have worked hard, over thirty years as an R&D Machinist! I was injured on the job (at that time I was making 65K a year).

I have paid all my child support, ON TIME, and had over a 760 credit rating until I could not work any more. I have gone through all my saving, sold almost anything I owned of value and am at the end of my rope. Patricia Hoversen doesnt need the money she is taking from me and she keeps filing for more all the time. She has so much money she purchased a second home in Canada. She has a good friend that is her lawyer and its easy for her to keep up the pressure because of this. Karen and I are now destitute, Patricia has even found a way to take Karens bank account, one without my name on it. You ask why we do not go to family court and file for a reduction? Karen and I have tried several times.

It is a zoo there, both of us can not stand or walk for more the 10 to 20 minutes tops (on a good day). Family court, where we have to go for modifications to support orders. They tell you to be there at 7am, no later then 8am, opening the doors at 9am. Hordes of people push and shove to get in before they close and lock the doors (about hour after opening). The lobby is full (like cattle in a pen) and that is the amount of people they take for the day. Karen and I cant even get through the door! We called and wrote to complain and they sent us paperwork for a teller conference but the paperwork is just to difficult for us to understand.

My SS is about $1800.00 a month which Patricia Hoversen is taking $1200.00 of !! A few months ago I paid up my overdue child support in full, $18,000.00 (only because of a relatives help). You would think that Patricia Hoversen would have accepted the $18,000.00 and called off her vendetta after over 10 years, but it only angered her more and she filed new papers for more money, AND GOT IT!!! We have lost our car insurance because we could not pay it. We also just lost our homeowners insurance! Foreclosure is imminent. Karen and I need help!!! Can you help Karen and I put a stop to this ABUSE of the CHILD SUPPORT system by this vindictive person????
