I put an add on the internet looking for a Weimaraner puppy because I had been looking for one for about a month and was unable to find one in my price range. I had several emails answering to the add. I talked to them all seveal times so that I could get the puppy that I wanted.

Finally I narrowd it down to a woman in Cameroon that said she had just moved to the country about 3 weeks ago and was unable to take care of the puppy that she had brought with her and only wanted me to pay$150 to have it shipped to me. I thought that this was a great deal and she seemed to be a very nice person. She sent me many photos of the puppies. So I decided that I would get the puppies from her and she said that I would not have to send the money to her but only to the airport for the shipping crate, so I did. They gave me flight numbers and crate numbers. It all seemed to be ok.

The puppies took off and landed in Paris where they said that the needed life insurance to continue into the US inthe amount of $380 and it would be refunded to me when the puppies arrived at the airport safe. So I paid that money and they gave me another flight number that they would arrive on in California. Then the so called cargo company for California contacted me and said in order fro the puppies to stayin the US they needed to be vaccinated and I would again have to pay for that in the amount of $675. I was kind of worred about it but they assured me that there were puppies waiting on me at the airport and everytime that I questioned their response they had a very good and seemed to be right answer for it, because I researched it all on the net and it al seemed to be right.

So my husband and I sent the money once again and they emaild back and said that they got the money and they would email me again with the flight number and the time it should land. So I waited over night with no response, so I tried to email them several time and there has never been any response from them. I have no idea what I was thinking, maybe I just really wanted a puppy and I thought that this was a chance of a lifetime to have one, so I just took it and ran. So be carefull do not buy purebread puppies off the net when you can not go to look at them.

But the interesting thing is that you "researched it all on the net and it al seemed to be right".

So along with not buying anything from people in foreign countries(especially one right next to Nigeria(AKA Fraud Central) where you have to wire money. Don't trust the Internet as a substitution for your gut feelings.
