Puerto Bahia sells deeded fractional ownership not timeshare and then adds a marketing offer as enticement to buy, an offer that is too good to be true. The current marketing company Timely Travel is claimed to be US based in Souix Falls South Dakota but the address is bogus just like their previous marketing company called Mercury Property Managemnet in St Louis.
The marketing offer is additional 3 weeks of time that can be used or rented for a profit as well as purchasing your current timeshare that you no longer may want. It is all lies as they cannot purchase this property without the involvement of the owner as they claim. They are no different than the timeshare brokers that offer the same services for an upfront fee and then you never hear from them again since they go out of business on a regular basis. Platinum Services was another one of those marketing scams. When Puerto Bahia is confronted with this information the reply is "we cannot take responsibility for what they do".
While Puerto Bahia Villas and Spa may be a nice resort their sales tactics put them in the same catagory as timeshare resorts such as Vallarta Gardens and Krystal all in the Puerto Vallarta area.

Puerto Bahia Timeshare Scam

Our experience was the same at the Puerto Bahia timeshare resort. We purchased a 3 bdrm in April 2012 and have not gone yet since they were only completed this year and plan on using it next year. Everything is a lie, I thought the other timeshares were bad, but these are one of the worse. Bottom line, don't do any time share tour in Mexico. They tell you whatever you want to hear without ever putting it in writing.
