Rand Hoch Palm Beach Humaan Rights Council Former Judge Rand Hoch age 57 began a relationship with my then 17 year old son and used and encouraged him to lie to the City of Boca Raton West Palm Beach Florida

 Why would a 57 year old gay man have my 18 year old son not only live with him have him on utube under Rand Hoch's name but he also drove him to Illionis.  Do you think Tyler paid for anything ????  Ofcourse NOT!!!!  Do you think Rand paid for 2 hotel rooms??? Ofcourse not!!!  Rand Hoch is a PERVERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He hardly even knows my son.

 Ok let's get the truth out here.  Tyler Morrison was never homeless, not only did he have me his mom (who NEVER kicked him out) he had his step father, 3 aunts( living local) 2 uncles( living loca)l and a grqandmother (living local.)  Yet he ended up living with FORMER Judge Rand Hoch another openly gay 57 yr old.  Does an 18 year old belong living with a strange 57 year old former judge whom he hardly knows?  This is what Tyler did since he was found out by the city of Boca Raton that he LIED by me (what mother condones lieing) he wanted to pay me back and so he sized up Rand Hoch as the pervert that he is and lied to him making Hoch and whoever would listen to feel sorry for poor poor Tyler.  He knew Hoch would allow him to live in his condo, he knew Hoch would allow him to smoke weed 24/7 he knew Hoch would give him money and buy him whhatever he wanted, why??? Because Hoch LOVES YOUNG BOYS!!!  Then Hoch drove Tyler to Illinois, do you think Tyler paid for the trip???  Do you think they slept in seperate rooms? Ofcourse not!!!!!!  Hoch you are a pervert who has and is being used by my son and why???? BECAUSE YOU ARE A PERVERT!!!!!!!!!

With reference to the settlement in my lawsuit against the Rissman firm for their defamatory comments,  the lawyers had to publish apologies and pay me what can only be described by the terms of the settlement agreement as "a substantial amounty" of money.  So, contrary to Ms. Riggin's latest defamatory comments, here's what Florida Trend magazine published in their 4/1/02 issue:

Orlando-based workers' compensation law firm Rissman, Weisberg, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue & McLain has settled a lawsuit brought by a former compensation claims judge who alleged the firm defamed him at a 1994 seminar by suggesting that "young men in shorts" could curry favor in his courtroom ["Sleeping with the Enemy," December 1999].

Rand Hoch, now a mediator in West Palm Beach, has been paid a "substantial" amount of money to drop his lawsuit against the firm but says under the terms of the settlement, he can't say how much.

The firm has also agreed to publish statements in two trade publications read by insurance adjusters and workers' compensation lawyers acknowledging that the suggestion is untrue, though the firm did not admit that any of its lawyers were responsible for making it.

The characterization of Hoch was one of a number of unflattering descriptions of judges and lawyers in the state's workers' comp system contained in a memorandum purporting to summarize a seminar the firm put on for insurance adjusters. Titled "Sleeping with the Enemy," the Rissman, Weisberg seminars were designed to give adjusters the advantage of knowing the quirks, temperament and reputations of the judges and lawyers they'd be working with.

Hoch, who is openly gay, argued that the characterization of him suggested that he was a pedophile and that his sexual orientation could influence his professional judgment.

My son was never ever kicked out of my home, Rand Hoch vs Rissman is all I have to say.  There is a reason this"man" is no longer a judge.  There are reasons Rand Hoch was accused of liking young boys in tight shorts in 1999. Again read Hoch vs. Rissman.

It is unfortunate that Ripoff Report allows people to make defamatory comments about individuals and refuses to take them down. Therefore, since this item keeps popping up in Google searches, I must reply to the defamatory comments made by Andrea Riggin. On one occasion he needed to consult records maintained by a non-profit organization I work with. On the other occasion, he and I were members of a panel meeting at a local community center to interview candidates for public office. Her son and I have never become “close friends” such as she insinuates. At her son's request, I provided him with a safe place to live near his school and place of work during the three month period following his being thrown out of the house by Ms. Riggin until his graduation from high school. at his request, I also drove him (and his belongings) last May from Florida to his college in Illinois. At no time did I convince her son to lie about anything. Ms. Riggin claim that her son “could not even tell me what he was challenges [sic.] Boca Raton about” makes no sense, in light of the numerous television and print media interviews he gave, explaining his work with the Community Relations Board

While Ms. Riggin states that “[a]s soon as my son turned 18 he moved out of my home in West Palm”, the fact is, as stated above, that, just prior to his 18th birthday, Ms. Riggin threw her son out of the house. (She had done this many times before – starting when she abandoned him when he was approximately two years old. Additionally, Ms. Riggin was repeatedly unavailable to her son during her criminal incarcerations and mental health institutionalizations.) While Ms. Riggin accuses me of lying to the City of Boca Raton, that is an untrue statement. While she claims that there is a “fanscination [sic.] with young boys”, that is also untrue. She further claims that her son “ has an emotional handicap that Hoch preyed on.” The only information I have heard about her son having any “emotional handicap” was from the rantings of Ms. Riggin. He appeared to be a typical student. Ms. Riggin did not go to the City Council meeting, as she threatened in her posting. As a result of her son’s work with the Community Relations Board, on September 10, 2013, the City Council enacted an ordinance based on a resolution that he had drafted. Her son, a talented musician, is now attending the University of Illinois - far away from his mother. Andrea Riggin should be proud of her son’s accomplishments. She never should have turned on him, as she has so often done in the past. I would hope that by now, Ms. Riggin would cease and desist from her delusional rants and leave me alone. But I doubt she will let this go. .
