Riverside Bank, Palm Beach Plantation, Premiere Mobile Homes Worked together to take my home Lake Worth Florida

In January of this year a gentleman named Gary Mckee from Riverside Bank contacted me at my place of employment. He called using the name of Luis and informed my employee that he was a locksmith. He was informed that I was not there to which he replied "put him on the phone or you're f***ing fired." My employee stated excuse me to which he replied "don't be a f***ing idiot, put him on the phone." She repeatedly told him that I was not there to which he called her a "f***ing idiot" three separate times.

When she asked if he would like to speak to the owner of the business his reply was "sure put him on the phone and I will tell him how much of a f***ing idiot he is too." Upon my return I was informed of this phone call. Gary (Luis the locksmith) called back (against federal law which was communicated to Gary by myself back in August of 08 when I provided my cell phone number for him to contact me on) and told me he was Luis the locksmith and that he was going to be at my home with the police in the morning to change the locks on my house for not paying the mortgage.

I told him I would see what my attorney had to say about that. His reply was "you are so full of s**t. You don't have an attorney. You can't even afford to pay your lot rent (which by the way was late in the month of January and the only way he would have known this information was if Palm Beach Plantation Property Management Office provided it to him)." I hung up on him and did a reverse look up on his phone number. It was a cell phone number. I had a friend call the number back and they got the voice mail. Then Gary called this individual back and was equally as rude to my friend. About a half an hour later, Gary called this friend back to apologize.

He identified himself as Gary, that he worked for a bank, that he was from Indiana and a single father who was more than a little upset with his new boss for making him work mandatory 8 hour days. This all happened on a Friday night. The following Monday morning I was in the local branch office of Riverside Bank to formally lodge a complaint against this individual and get in touch with his supervisor. A Donna Huerter contacted me later that day and told me that she was in fact his boss and one of the vice presidents of the bank. I informed her of what happened. She apologized and told me that she would look into it and take care of the matter. She also informed me that she would personally take care of my account.

After discussing my account with her she informed me that she would be able to take care of my account with a mortgage payment and one, possibly two deferred payments. She didn't know about the deferred payments so she said she would check into it and get back to me. I said great and thank you. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard anything from Ms Huerter. I called her back and spoke with her. She told me that she personally wrote out the envelope and sent me the information. I informed her that I never received it and can she please fax it to me. She agreed and I provided her with my fax number. That was a Monday afternoon. That night when I arrived to work there was no fax.

I called the next day and left a message that the fax was never received. I came into work on Wednesday and there was still no fax. I continued to try and get in touch with Ms Huerter with regards to this matter for several weeks. Over a month later a Shirley from Riverside Bank contacted me at work (against federal law) and I told her that Ms Huerter was handling the matter and please ask her where my paperwork was. The next we a gentleman from Riverside contacted me at work (against federal law) and I informed him of the same thing. Finally, almost two months after my initial phone conversation with Ms Huerter, Shirley contacted me once again at work (against federal law) and requested my email address. I provided it to her and two days later I received a email from Ms Huerter informing me that I needed to pay the mortgage plus another $800 for the two deferred payments.

I also had a week to do so. I didn't have the almost $1500 at this time due to extenuating circumstances. I tried to inform Shirley of this and it fell on deaf ears. Two weeks later I was informed that Riverside Bank paid my lot rent for April. When I questioned Riverside (Gary) I was informed that they could do a loan modification for me. However, I would have to bring the account current which would cost $2800. I told him that was not acceptable because the account would have been current had Ms Huerter done her job 2 months earlier. He put me in touch with the bank president who informed me that I would actually need $3900 to bring the account current. He then informed me that it would be in my best interests to find another place for my 5 year old son and I to live. Which I promptly did.

I was settling into my new home when I received a phone call from a neighbor stating that all of my ex wife's personal belongings that remained in the home were sitting out in my driveway, the house had been cleaned and that the locks had been changed. Not only that, but Premiere (the company hired by Riverside Bank to clean out the home and sell it) had taken the items that they wanted and put them in a facility in Lake Worth waiting to be donated to a charity. I was able to track down most of her belongings.

However, baby pictures of my son, my ex wife, family photos, etc were destroyed when they took this keep sakes that I had carefully packed away in a spare room for my ex wife to pick up and just tossed them into trash bags with the trash that was left in the home. I was never served with eviction papers. Nothing was ever posted on my home that I was being evicted. I wasn't home so they just went in, cleaned, removed personal belongings, took what they wanted and never said a word.

Riverside Bank, Palm Beach Plantation and Premiere Mobile Homes all acted in concert with each other to make this happen. I have been told that when the bank takes over a manufactured home that it's like repossessing a vehicle. I beg to differ. I do believe that they have a legal obligation to inform me that this is going to happen. That they have to legally evict me. This was not done. Now I went from home owner to renting a house just so my son and I can survive. I thought that the government was supposed to put a stop to this kind of stuff
