In April 12, 2007 we thought we were building our dream home. Instead it has been living hell. Once we had got it all built and moved in, the mortgage went to Peotone Bank. I had paid 26 thousand dollars on the interest and never should up any of the paper work. Peotone Bank never contacted us to tell us that they were going to fold up and another company was going to take over which was Round Point. It was 6 to 8 months before I could get hold of them and talk to them about my payments.

I could not send anything to anyone because I did not know where to send it. Every time I would call them, they would not respond and I could never talk to them. I feel like they were purposely ignoring me so that they could take my home away from me. October 2012 we had got served with foreclosure papers and we had 45 days to move out but their lawyer told our lawyer we could stay there the winter months until March of 2013 but that did not happen. On January 14, 2013 they came to my door and evicted us. They had taken all our stuff and sat it outside and we had 48 hours to get our stuff off the property.

Another thing we were told was that any mortgage company could not do this do someone with diabetes and people with disabilities. We are still going through the emotional, mental, and physical stress and it is making it awful hard to live like that and we are still looking for a place to live thanks to them we are living in a camper.

I do want to mention what is said on the paper of foreclosure and notice of sale. It was filed October 19, 2012 with the wrong address on it. They had the address of 680 N. 2nd Street and it was never that. The address was 655 W. Perry Street. In my opinion if they could not get the address right they should not have been able to do this to us. All I wanted to do is work with them and make my payments and be left alone. No other company I know would have done this to us.

I really don't think they wanted to work with us on this. Thanks to them we are suffering badly. I think we should deserve to be reimbursed for all the stress in every way. They told me that they would wait until August 2012 before it would be sold but they lied to me again and was sold in July 2012. I really hate being lied to and that what was happening ever since the house was built and we had to deal with these people.
