This rail is a product of faulty design which can scar your child for life, even if they are not attempting any skateboard maneuvers.

I have talked with K-Mart and Sears and they apparently do not care. They claim they have no liability, only Razor USA does. The logical process on this line of thought is that K-Mart and Sears can sell anything that is dangerous and not be held responsible for it, all they do is rake in the millions.

My daughter has 12 stitches in her head because of the faulty design of this rail and neither Sears nor K-Mart could care less. You think Sears cares about you? Try calling the Corporate Headquarters at 1-847-286-2500.

You are not allowed to talk to anyone there, they put you on hold and send you to the "Executive Management Team", which in my case, was exactly who I wanted to complain about. Bottomline? The heck (I had to change the word because they consider h e double hockey sticks, profanity) with you and if you don't like it, our CEOs don't care.

It's been about a month now since my daughter was injured, while I waited on them to provide me information. I just got through driving downtown to the store and got the information myself in five minutes. If you'd like to know the whole story feel free to contact me at No phone number, huh? Well, that's because I just read the "Review Guidelines" and it states they will pull your review if there is a phone number, email address, etc., or basically anything else they don't like. Sounds like they don't want people comparing notes. Meanwhile, I'd be interested if any of you know of the highest price personal injury attorney lawyer there is. I tried to settle this nicely, Sears and K-Mart do not care. I will never shop with them again.

#6 Consumer Suggestion

It is the responsiblity of the company that manufactures the product

AUTHOR: Nicole - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 07, 2009

I understand your frustration with Sears and how they have handled your situation, however, you must realize that Sears did not make the product. There are countless items sold in stores, not just Sears that are found to be faulty after they have been sold. Take for example all of the China made toys that were found to have high contents of lead. Should the stores have been responsible for selling products that make children sick? Sears would only be liable if they already knew the product was faulty and sold it anyway. If your decide to get a lawyer, I suggest you take your suit against Razr, not Sears, because in this case Sears is not at fault.

The Kmart employee could not have said it better. Does Sears manufacture these items, NO. Just the other day i was my son tripped on one of his toys and fell on the floor and bumped his head. i am not going to call Fisher Price to sue them because it wasn't there fault. I hope you find the best most expensive lawyer and pay him to tell you the exact same thing. Use commom sense!!!

#1 UPDATE Employee

Kmart Worker.

AUTHOR: The Layaway Associate - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 17, 2009

I am so sorry about your daughter and I hope she is better now. But that isn't Kmart's fault. You can't blame for selling a product that your daughter got hurt on, when I was little I fell off my bike and I have a scar to this day, but my parents didn't sue the bike store. It isn't the bike store's fault. Kmart supplies products from companies you buy those products from a deal with Kmart. Yet Kmart doesn't know anything about them, it is the company who made the products fault for any damages your daughter received due to the use of the product. What would you like your local Kmart to do, they cannot change their inventory and no longer order the product they are a corporation. It isn't that we don't care about you, but somethings are not our fault.
