Shaw Industries Shaw Carpet Denied Warranty Claim Dalton, Georgia

Shaw carpet is the biggest joke.  I followed the warranty instructions to a "T" and my claim was denied. 

First they sent out an inspector that they hired.  He came in crawled around never said a word and said he would send the report to Shaw.

After several attempts to find out what the outcome of my claim was, I was told the lady assigned to my claim was on vacation for a week...okay so why was it assigned to her if she was out?  Finally, I have another lady go through my report while I'm on the phone with her and she said the inspector reported that it was normal wear and tear.  Umm no it's not, my carpet looks like sh@#, she then stated that I could hire my own inspector with my own money and file another report! What! I did what I was supposed to do, I had my carpet professionally cleaned every 12 months and nothing is going to fix it.  She then stated that was their recommendation was to have it cleaned and it would fix the problem.  I said the only solution I saw was to hire my own attorney and he can fix the problem.

Bottom line Shaw is not going to honor it's end of the warranty and they don't care if their customers are happy.  I didn't want to replace my whole house just the living room and hallway.  They hire crooked inspectors to file reports that will have the claim end in their favor.  Shaw carpet is a joke, all they care about is their profit and not the customer's satisfaction. Shaw sucks
