i've subscribed sirius satellite radio since 2004 when i got a new car with satellite radio. i sold the car in 2007 and let my subcription expire. i've since then gotten 2 satellite radios for different cars under different accounts.

in June 2011, i got a $443 bill from sirius for an expired account from 2004, to prepay for 2011 and 2012. i called sirius and spent hours on the phone only to be placed on hold and transferred to numerous people who eventually hung up. no one in sirius could do anything and just kept transferring me. so i had to dispute the charges through credit card company. sirius responded to credit card company stating it's for an automatic renewal which i never signed up for in 2004. i had to dispute it twice to get the credit back.

on 11/28/2011, i received a notice in the mail of a bill for automatic renewal from sirius again for the same old expired account. this time it's $152 plus $40some fees. i called again and was again placed on hold, then transferred, and placed on hold, and the 2nd person hung up after i was on hold for 45 minutes. i tried the chat with customer service and he said he couldn't cancel an account and i must call the number that had hung up on me before. he kept saying that he couldn't help me and the only way is to call that number.

this siriusxm automatic renewal is a scam. i would participate in a class action law suit even if i don't get any settlement personally. this company is a fraud and should be stopped.
