"over $3000 in checks go in and 3 overdraft fees for checks that came back" Don't write checks against unavailable funds. Wait for the deposited funds to become available.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

To you and NUMEROUS others, you CAN'T check your balance by computer or phone

AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, September 16, 2011

If you do, you will have EXACTLY this happen. The bank's NOT the one at fault. If you had, according to the bank's system, $5+ in your account....this CANNOT take into account ANY uncleared transactions

Unless you maintain an ACCURATE, daily check register, this will continue to happen. If you are incapable of doing this, you need to ask your banker for help in maintaining this vital document, or maybe you just enjoy paying fees.

You'll find out that ANY bank you decide to move your funds to you will also "Rip you off", the only difference may be in the amount they charge for each of your little "screw-ups"

Have a nice f***ing day.

"your RUDE customer service dept robots are all spouting banking 101 to me like im a f****king idiot. "

Time will tell if you were smart and took their advice or you are an idiot and will keep making the same mistakes over again, expecting different results.   No doubt they told you to keep a check register.  Until you do that, it doesn't matter where you move your accounts.  You will keep having the same problem.   You can check your bank balance every 5 minutes if you want, but if you don't have a register, you'll never know for sure how much money you have.
