My wife and I bought into the TAN vacation packages, though we managed to hold out and only bought the 10 vacations.  The concept is good and so far as I can see they do have some descent condos, the issue is there is pretty much no such thing as an off season for most locations other than when nobody wants to be there anyhow.  This costs you extra pretty much anytime you want to go, and you better book your trip about a year ahead or they will be booked up.  And as I have read in other complaints, you pretty much always have to pay for the extra room if you have more than three people, we have a total of five.  Now add in the over $300 annual fee until you run out of vacations, and you may as well just book on your own for what you end up paying.

All in all unless you are single or a retired couple who can use up your vacations pretty quick it is not worth the cost and hastle.  They need to show you actual examples of the booking process and fees, such as perhaps during their big "show" go through the process of booking a place chosen by someone in the group they are trying to sell to.

How can they show their good faith and show what a "good company" they truly are as someone else says?  Easy, offer an out for people who want out.  I would take the loss of the money I put down and have paid just to get out of the annual fee and future payments on the high interest loan I took, I don't think that this is too much to ask, or that it is not possible.

All in all, I steer people away any time TAN or Sundance is mentioned and will continue to until proven to be wrong.
