Back in November of 2007, I joined a teleconference that was set up by a gentleman named Jeff Adams. Due to scheduling issues, Ted Thomas did the presentation about his Foreclosures Course instead of the original scheduled speaker.

Ted made a very nice presentation, and considering that I did not know either Jeff Thomas or Ted Thomas, and based on the information that Ted provided, I was impressed with him but I did not want to buy the course. Later on, Ted stated that he is actually looking for good partners that he will work with, and that he does NOT need any ones MONEY. He stated on the call, and Jeff Adams and many other people heard it on the call, that he would REFUND the FULL PURCHASE PRICE to any one that is not happy with the course within ONE FULL YEAR.
When I received the course, I noticed that non of the promises that were made, were documented. I immediately felt that I should send the course back unless I receive a written confirmation that I can send the course back. Sure enough, one of the customer service reps did send me the confirmation by email.

As I examined the course, over the next few months, and as I started listening to more RE Investors Gurus and reading such material on the internet, I realized that this course that I purchased from Ted Thomas did not provide me with any information that I could not get on the internet for free.

In April, 2008, I called Jones & Trevor Marketing, and let them know that I need to return the course material for a refund. I spoke with John Maryland and John provided me with the company's address and asked me to send it to his attention. I asked John to send me an email to confirm receipt of the material but he did not. Few weeks later, I called him to find out status of the refund and he said that he no longer issues refunds and that I need to contact Kelly/Office manager or Ted Thomas' personal assistant.

I have contacted Kelly at least 10 times, wrote emails to her explaining the situation and sent her many emails documenting shipment of the course and the receipt of the shipment by John Maryland. After few months, Kelly said that Jeff Thomas is not responsible for the refund and I should contact Jeff Adam's office. I told Kelly that Ted Thomas is the one who made the promise, Ted Thomas' company (Jones &Trevor Marketing) shipped the course and received back, therefore, Ted Thomas is liable to send me the refund. Yet, I did go along and talk to Jeff Adam's office to ask them for a refund, and they refused to refund the money. They said that their return policy is only 30 days, and since Ted Thomas made the pledge to return the course any time within a year, then it is Ted Thomas' office that is responsible for the refund.

As of today, it has been more than six months since I returned the course material, and I have not received the refund or the course material back. I want to warn new RE investors from dealing with Ted Thomas or Jones & Trevor Marketing or any of the companies associated with Ted Thomas. When a business man makes promises to entice people to purchase his course and then does not honor such promises. There is some thing that is fundamentally wrong with their business ethics and they should not be allowed to operate in an educational field, and certainly not an investment field. What was done to me is intentional deceits and all should be warned from dealing with these crooks. I do plan to pursue legal action against Jones & Trevor Marketing, Ted Thomas and all the associates that were involved in producing the Teleconference. I urge any one who had similar experiences to contact me at clearideas@hotmail.com to help expose such people to the media to stop them from making a living by selling their junk to people and robbing them from their hard earned money and some times the last of their money. I appreciate all the help I can get from Ripoffreport and any one that sees this report and can provide some help to stop such Rip off.
