The Lexington Center Neglect and Incompetence-SHUT IT DOWN! Huntsville , Texas

      Were do I begin? I was a provider there for 2 years. It was a good place. There were two qualified RNs in charge, but both got fired, one after another. They made sure the proper meds were administered and the patients had proper care. However, their hands were tied. Erlene Ramsey was the administrator who let the rest of the help do what they wanted, starting with an unqualified assistant named Verlee Pearly(real name) who had NO medical qualifications and could barely read. One of the big dinner items was spicy mexican food(there is no nutritionist there) Spicy food for elderly patients? Most ended up in the garbage. As enrollment declined, the RN's had to go. Verlee was put in charge with a free hand. So one after one, the qualified people got fired and she hired all her incompetent buddies who did NOTHING! Finally the state came in and ordered residents out who legally should have been placed in a nursing home but the $4000 a month rent was too profitable to let them go.The final straw came when a lady by the name of Miss Black died for no apparent reason. She was on partial oxygen, but the idiots used oxygen for medication while she was laying on her back which builds up a liquid entering the lungs. Negligence?? Unqualified persons in charge? None of them have any medical training! Go visit the place if you don't believe me!  This place needs to be SHUT DOWN NOW!
