This company misrepresents the condition of its used merchandise for the sole purpose of generating more sales. They know the process of returning the damaged merchandise is more of a hassle than most customers want to go through, and in the end, end up costing the customer more money in return shipment fees.
They assumingly have a decent percentage of satisfied customers, as evidence by the user feedback on their Amazon storefront. Obviously, all their merchandise isn't bad. But if you read through the comments, there are over a dozen customers who complain of the same thing -- MISREPRESENTED CONDITION OF PRODUCT! This complaint shows up numerous times even on comments with high to decent ratings.
Do not take your chances buying used CDs or DVDs from this company under the assumption that "like new condition" means like new. The CD I received was scratched and damaged to the point where it would constantly skip, the coverart was ripped and I could not read the lyrics.
Upon contacting them, they simply said, "The CD practically new when it left our store." This is the same generic reply they've responded to all their customers with. Check their seller feedback and you can see for yourself their lame untruthful excuses as well as their snooty remarks toward unhappy customers.
Unless you enjoy damaged CDs, do not take your chances and buy from this unprofessional company; either their online stores or their brick and mortar store located at 7446 W. Madison, Forest Park, IL 60130

We all know Dennis should not be shopping online because he needs to be able to sleep, touch, ,feel and dine with any used product he buys and being raised by a single mother has turned him into a fuss and he'll never be satisfied so just let it go. Where are the real men???

Long Time Customer With Something to Say

I have been a long time customer of The Old School Records for the last few years. I read the comments of the gentleman from Encino,California. I understand that sometimes that items arrive in less than stellar condition. The various package delivery outfits don't exactly handle packages with tender loving care. I have bought various CD's from them and have NEVER had a problem with quality. I am sure that the owner handled this issue just as he said in his reply. I have personally seen him handle customer service issues with satisfactory results. I would hate to see anyone not do business with The Old School Records due to one incident that apparently was rectified with a refund.

That Mono Men CD was apparently scratched in transit since when it was returned the inner teeth were broken on the CD tray which was explained to the customer.
We send out all product in perfect condition cases....
We kindly refunded the 9 + dollars and threw the disc away.
