TigerDirect.com - OnREbate.com Fluid Price labels changed after order was submitted, rebate ripoff Miami Florida

I saw an Ultra 3200 400HZ 512 MB ram for after rebate 9.99 for a few days until tonight when the web link showed it was FREE after rebate and the price dropped from 79.99 to 69.99, so I made the order within a few minutes.

When I put it into the cart, it was still showing the lower price. However, when the order was sumbitted, it showed the higher price.

Since there are so many combined rebates in the order, I was confused and do not know ehn the price was changed, right before or after I submitted the order. But it did change real quickly.

This is no different than bait and switch only in a more digital way. The price link changes without leaving and trace of the lower price and the word FREE.

Last year, it also did similar trick to me as the CA internet security software was advertised in three or four differnt ways, with various kinds of rebates, in cluding the last one which says FREE, no payment until after 30 days of trial. Even thogh the price before that day was listed as with price and rebate. The trial was counted from the order day a couple of weeks before it arrived, which is not conventional and I was charged the rip-off $69.99. Without rebate, the price would have been a lot lower.

The OnREbate.com that this company uses also has two rebates that were accepted three months ago as indicated on their site, but still not paid. Email requests were not replied to.
