Tropical Auto ..a slick mechanics trick!

i bought a couple of cars, about the same time i sold my house.
i moved 300 miles north,bought another house....
so,i had my auto's serviced for 10 years at a garage,in cape coral,fl...tropical auto... owner named RON...so i had him tow these two cars,over to his garage,10 miles away....i asked him to see what they would need,to get them in road condition...give me an estimate of how much it would cost to fix them....oh,the tow bill was $40..each vehicle...

so, each week i called him,he was too busy to take a look at them,then 4 months passed,i called,he said he had a buyer for one of the vehicles,a van...for $400..i said ok..sell it and take your $80 out and send me the rest...he said oh send me the titles..i said ok..sent them,,big mistake...so now he has my vehicles,and the titles...a few weeks i call back,and he says oh the guy doesn't have the $4 yet,,so i waited,that never happened and i doubt that there ever was a buyer..

so,next time i call he says that he has fixed the brakes on the van $600...so now i owe him $700....i said what? u did not give me an estimate!..u could have called and said ,look kyle ,this is going to cost u $600 to fix the brakes,do u want me to do it? i would have said no.so he took that option away from me,why? because he knows the repair job ismore than the van is worth....

so he gets both my vehicles if i don't pay this ridiculos amount,that i did not authorise ,and never was given an estimate...so, he then sells both cars ,and keeps the $$..pretty slick!...i hear from a friend that this is an old mechanic, auto repair trick!..its is auto RAPE!....can u help me, thanks kyle
