OUR NIGHTMARE:

This company engages in deceptive and fraudulent business practices.  We purchased a truck in November of 2009.  It broke down in March 2010, which caused us a great deal of money.  We were told to come down on March 8, 2010 to select another truck, but the truck was not available.

We have discovered that this company advertises inventory that they do not have only to bait you in and try to hook you.  When we arrived, we had to wait until Saturday to finalize the paperwork.  Gary Hunt told us that we had 3-4 weeks to make the first payment, although we signed the contract that said 7 days.  We had to leave because we had already spent over $450 on hotel, travel and food.

He said he would take care of the paperwork to amend the contract on March 15th, but this never happened.  In addition, when they sent someone to tow the truck, they stole over $190 worth of fuel from the truck.  We informed Gary Hunt of this prior to our leaving Gulfport, and Gary said he would take care of it.  We have called Gary Hunt, Louis Normand and Danny O'Daniel over 30 times.  Neither of them will talk to us.  We have been hung up on and transferred to a busy signal.

Although we could not get anyone to speak with us to resolve this matter, we got the expected call from United Truck Capital (the company that now holds the contract) seeking payment.  When we questioned them, we were told that United Truck Group would not speak with us because they (United Truck Capital) currently owns the contract.  This was odd since the contract clearly states United Truck Group and United Truck Capital are sister companies.

We decided to use United Truck Group the second time because the first truck broke down within three months of purchase, and we were told we could not get our deposit back.  After looking at their website today, we saw the first truck we purchased that recently broke down still being advertised for sale.  It states that the motor was overhauled in April 2009.  How could the engine be overhauled in April 2009 then again in November 2009?

We have lost a lot of revenue as a result of the unscrupulous business practices demonstrated by United Truck Group.  As we examined the contract closer today, we realized that they never credited us for the $295 application fee that they said would be apply towards the down payment.

It is a travesty how these people have swindled us and others out of our hard-earned money.   It is very clear that we must file a class action lawsuit against this company.  We have acquired the names of at least two other truckers who are willing to take part in this undertaking.  We need some guidance on how to proceed.

We must unite, as we have all been taken for a RIDE.

There was a fake rebuttal that UTG had resolved the issue relative to this original report.  Please hear me, UTG did not resolve anything with us.  They are reporting false information.  Again, UTG did not resolve this issue.
