Ventilation Purification/Premium Air Solutions BEWARE Bait and Switch Practices Akron Ohio

 Unfortunately I have to agree with the "anonymous business owner" as to the fine print on the duct cleaning deal. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with them. My wife purchased a Groupon for $59. When they arrived, they "cleaned" the main duct and returns, but tried an upcharge for $370 to do the remaining 2 air intake trunk lines and 2 supply main trunk lines. This is not where the problem is though (even though I consider it a bit of bait and switch due to the fine print issue). Their workers damaged my $25 washable filter while performing their work. They never indicated any damage to my wife. Due to rising temperatures, we started the furnace Monday and noticed it was unusually loud. I didn't think anything of it right away and assumed the air conditioner was working a little harder than normal. The noise level never diminished and I went down to check out the furnace which was vibrating badly. The damaged filter parts had been sucked into the blower. After shutting down the system, I proceeded to remove the filter pieces from my blower. Luckily the only apparent damage was to the filter as the blower does not appear to have been significantly damaged. I proceeded to call the company Tuesday morning and spoke with an operator. I relayed my concerns and the fact I wanted reimbursed for the filter damage and my time. I was told "a manager would call me back". To date I have not received a call back regarding a system that was damaged by their negligence. To avoid complaints with the better business bureau, this company does not place their address of operation on it invoice or web site. Under all circumstances do not utilize this company!!!

I first want to set the record straight that Premium Air Solutions is not affiliateed with Ventilatioon Purification. We had purchased a van from them a few months back and removed the decals, but you can still faintly see the outline of the lettering which is why you assumed it was the same company.I want to first apologize for confusion.

As for the $59.00 voucher you purchased, it does state that a surcharge may apply for the cleaning of additional main ducts,furnace cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and sanitizing. The technicians are trainded to inspect the system, and recomondatons on other componets of the system that need cleaning. For example, if they notice that your furnace blower is compacted with dirt which can cause it to malfunction, they are going to bring it to your attention . If you choose not to clean it we will still honor  your voucher for $59.00 to clean out all of your vents and returns which is still a great cleaning.

In conclusion, we have a very high customer approval rating with Living Social with alot of great reviews. I am sorry you wern't satisfied with the service and if you would like to talk to me dirctly I urge you to contact me  so we can iron this issue out.We take customer service seriously. Thank you.
