Contacted verizon on several occasions by phone to have HBO and Cinamax removed. I did not want them.  After waiting on hold for hours each time and always being told over the phone that the changes have been made but I never received them. Working on average 60hr a week I never had time to deal with them for something to never be done so I gave up and just payed the extra fee each month.

I kept seeing my triple play bundle bill go up from the $79.99 until my last bill at over $224. I went online to my account and found without my authorization verizon took the liberty to "upgrade my accounts" to a premium package. I live alone and so no one else at this address would have access to my account or email.

So knowing I would get nowhere on the phone to with a salesmen who’s record would have been affected by my reducing services I went online made the changes to reduce my packages back to basic. I should add they also charge you a extra $26 even without a contract to do this. Online I cut my T.V. Down to basic and removed both Cinamax and HBO.....AGAIN!!!! I was prompted that I would receive a conformation email shortly. When I received the email of course I clicked the confirm button. Later on I found that the HBO and Cinamax packages again were not removed. I checked the fine print on the confirmation email and of course it did not include all the changes I requested and so I would need to again pay another $26  for another change to my account.

Less than 6 hours after the initial change to my account verizon had sold my phone email address to SPAM sites. I now get between 10 and 15 spam emails a day anything from credit card companies to elderly sex sites.

I then got an email from verizon asking for feedback about my experience. I of course left negative feedback.  Within 2 hours my phone began ringing off the hook from the telemarketers they sold my phone number to. I am by the way on the do not call list. Also receiving calls from this scam artiest who claims to be exempt from the do not call list because they just want money and not selling anything. “1-248-228-3916” I looked up the number online they can't seem to decide what cause they are looking for donations so they just use a different one each time.
