I was corresponding with this guy via a dating site on internet, and he conned me into sending him money via western union.
He mentioned his name as "jerry byers" and that he lives in Texas but stuck in Nigeria.
When time came after huge persuation from him, to send money, he gave me totally different name to send money via western union. I went ahead and sent it under original name Jerry Byers.
He cashed it.
My issue is, obviously western union workers in Nigeria in cahut with criminals and they deliver the money without checking the ID.
I would like western union to be responsible for this kind of in house frauds and refund 1000.00 ( I can only hope for.)

Common sense should tell you to look out for red flags:
1. "huge persuation from him, to send money" to someone you've never met
2. "lives in Texas but stuck in Nigeria"
3. "he gave me totally different name to send money"
How do you know the receiver didn't present ID? Do you have a brain?
