Santiago lied about the condition for a 2004 bmw silver 530i. he sucker me into making a 1000.00 deposit after lying that the car was in GREAT!!! DRIVING AND RUNNING CONDITION. this was on a friday afternoon and I did not want to place any deposits until a had the car inspected on monday but he said if i want the 9800 price agreed on i only had 15 minutes to think about it or on monday it would be 10800. So I ask about the vehicles condition and he said again "IS RUNNING AND DRIVING GREAT!!!"

Come Tuesday I get an email my deposit is not refundable. Then on Wendsday I get my vehicle report for CARCHEX and the inspector saying the car car is no where near driving condition it had no steering and no barkes and the front suspention was damaged and and all whole other bunch of stuff no heater no A/C no No air bags no lights and so on... I think you get the point. So after getting the report back i ask santiago why he lied and he said again it was running but only "lot running" haha so now is "lot running" NOT "running great" how can a car be lot running with no brakes no power steering and a damaged suspension? so I ask for my deposti back and he reufused to give it back!! THEY ARE A RIPOFFCOMPANY!!!!!! AND LYERS.

Santiago might be a snake, but you are a fool. You fell into his sales tactics and tried to jump into the car before you knew what you were getting into.

1. Salvage vehicles usually are salvage because they cost more to repair than to buy a same year model.
2. You are dealing with Sales people NOT mechanics. How is Santiago going to tell you the car is great, he SELLS the cars he doesn't repair them. Your fault for trusting a sales person selling you snake oil.
3. Salvage business defines lot drives by - moves 6" front, 6 " reverse. Same rules for major salvage resellers like Co-part, go look at their website. They also say Where-is As-is and also explain that even though it "lot drives" when first received it may not drive upon pickup.
4. You are buying a salvage car over the internet trusting your eyes and some pictures.
5. You did not read the very BIG disclaimer that the money is NON-refundable.

I speak from experience. I bought an Infiniti M35 from World Wide Auto. Front end collision. Repairs only cost me $3,500. I haven't finished it yet but so far it all seems good.

You need to learn to read and not be a fool, you should have inspected first then paid but you jumped at the thought of saving a few bucks...there are THOUSANDS of salvage cars out there every month, don't be quick to pull the trigger on a car you have never seen in person.

I bought mine online and it lot and drove, started, no issues with the suspension. You can usually tell in the pics how hard the impact is and how deep it cut into the car. My frame was perfect and I saw that it had not touched the heels or engine. No issues...use common sense and you won't FEEL like you got ripped off...again SALVAGE cars...common sense.
