My husband and I went to a presentation after receiving a call that we won at least a cruise for sure even if we didn't buy anything. We talked with the salesmen as did many others at little round tables. We said we'd be interested if we could use it to bring our children and grandchildren down to stay at Clearwater or St Petersburg Beaches. That was the main reason we bought. Well, we found out, after paying $5000, that they don't have any accomodations in this area. This is the main reason we went for it as we were told this would be a great way to utilize this. When we found out that they couldn't accomodate us, we looked online for somewhere to go. Well, their places are off the wall weird places. Turns out they are other people's time shares. And they kept stressing they weren't a time share operation.
I actually was able to get a lower rate on a hotel room in St Pete Beach than they could get.
Then we checked on the complimentary cruise. They said we couldn't book until next year and there would be $400 port charges. Never heard of such a thing on a complimentary cruise. Also, the cruise has bunk beds. Now can you imagine. We are 66 and 70. My husband served this country in the US Army for 32 years. We were seriously ripped off. We feel, as good citizens, that we were taken big time.
I want to join any kind of action to recoup some of this money.

As the Manager of this office in Tampa I became aware of this posting and contacted the customer. At the time of my contact with the customer I explained to her that we had over 50 resorts between Anna Maria Island and Clearwater Beach, and more specifically we had in excess of 200 units for rent on our website at the very time that I called her. According to our Customer Service records the customer was given a quote for a 3 bedroom condo in Indian Rocks Beach, which is right in the exact area she is referring to in her posting, and she chose not to reserve that unit for whatever reason. Lastly the customer booked, and stayed in, a two bedroom condo in Virginia Beach and paid $610 for the entire week, 7 nights and 8 days. I do know that the customer was requesting the West Coast of Florida for Spring Break and we were unable to fulfill her request due to the fact that we were given 1 weeks notice for a VERY desirable area at the most difficult time to make a reservation. We instruct ALL of our owners that we are not perfect but we are the best and PLEASE book holidays and special events in advance. Lastly, we vacation and travel thousands of families each and every year and this is our first posting on this site.

Worldwide is Great Travel Company!

I am proud to say I'm an owner of this phenomenal company. You're invited in for a 'complimentary' cruise as it reads on the postcard, worked great, only paid the port/government taxes, & has many ports & destinations of call to pick. Nowhere does it state it is 'free' they were upfront, in truth with the details. Also a $25 card given to Outback, Bonefish, Carrabba's, Roy's, Fleming's, LeeRoy Selmons, & worked fine. In ~ a month, got booked to cruise & in ~2 1/2 after visiting for a 90 min no-pressure group sales show; got onboard Carnival from Tampa. There is a lot of bashing, false truths on them & serves everyone wrong to see; hopefully they don't sue for slander, I would! Neither is right nor fair for they have caring people that listen & never pressure you. My first experience with help from John the customer service manager; we got an amazing condo $299 for the week at Wydham Cypress Palms. Thanks Worldwide & everyone that sees this please look them up at www.gowwdestinations.com

I worked for this company at the Tampa office and I will say that they are all about the customer. I don't work for them anymore but I still stand behind what they sell they are great! I have used them for travel several times and saved a lot of money. I saw them fix a problem that someone reported 2 years after it happend, thats a great company.
