I was contacted by this company on the 1/25/13. The salesperson said that they would provide lead generation for a website that they would set up and use specific keyword phrases with Google's search engine. He said that the site would be set up within 3 business days and that they would contact me to walk me through personalizing the site after set up. The initial charge was supposed to be 44.85 for three search phrases.  (that's how they get your credit card number) They give you (supposedly) the first month for free and then if you like their service, they will bill your card $276 per month to continue.

Well, I usually do an internet check on companies like this before I business with them but I was in a hurry and went forward without doing so. Dumb me.

Six business days after they promised my site would be up and running I still hadn't heard anything from anyone on personalizing my site. So, I called the 800 number. (That was when I discovered they didn't have an email address you could write to.) I sat on hold for a long time and then when I finally did get someone on the phone, they said they would extend the time period on the first trial month in order to make up for the delay but that I would have a site within a day or two. When that didn't happen, I called in and asked to cancel the account altogether.
That was when the "fun" began.

Everytime I called, I would sit on hold for 10 -20 minutes. Then some salesperson would pick up and try to talk me out of cancelling the account. Then, when I insisted that I wanted to cancel the account, they would say "I have to transfer you to an Account Mgr." They would put me on hold for 20 minutes and then the call would be disconnected or a recording would come on saying "I'm sorry but the number you have called is no longer in service" and then disconnect me .

After several attempts at this game, I finally started right off the bat asking for an Account Mgr. And I did manage to get to two different Acct Mgrs.  And then each one of them would put me through the same thing of "Let's talk about this and see if we can get it worked out" They would not cancel the account, no matter what I said or did.

I even got to the point with the last one where I was yelling at her and she still wouldn't agree to cancel the account.

Now, you might be trying to figure out why I took so much time trying to cancel the account? Because they had my card number. I finally gave up and am shutting down my card and opening a new one. But that will require that I reset all of the legitimate auto-withdrawals I have. It's so frustrating.

If I had just check this site before I gave them my card number, I would have seen they are scam artists and not done business with them. I won't make that mistake again. DON'T do business with Worldwide Media Group or Linktech Intl.
