I was recently involved in a serious accident.....i needed the use of a Tens Unit ....my doctor ordered one for me .... It was delivered to me i had to sign a piece of paper that stated I would pay for it when my lawsuit concluded.....There was no price or anything of the sort on the paper.......

My lawsuit is concluding and i get a bill for $3495.00 ....

This is a tiny black piece of plastic with some wires and electrodes that attach to your skin....

I did research on the internet for similar tens units that do the same thing and not one of them came up for over $50.00 .... The price difference is beyond outrageous!

In fact my fiance got a Tens Unit a few weeks before me and paid $50.00 cash for it ...exactly the same thing but from a different company.

I called the company and they would not budge on the price they told me that is what they cost.

They are clearly taking advantage of injured people and grossly overcharging them for something that costs under $50.00 elsewhere...

Below is a link to websites that sell Tens Units .......all other websites are compartive in pricing ...mine is not an advanced 3 channel one...and even they dont sell for over $300.00

Buyers beware of the name Zynex Medical they are clearly a corrupt company

the model of my Tens Unit is called a Valutens

Virginia Beach you are a company plant

I have seen and used your product and several others. Yours does nothing more than any others do. Your product is actually the Pinto of the tens units, not the Mercedes. And yes I have the HICFA forms from the auto insurance company to show that they are charging over $2,500.00 for the units and over $209.00 per month for the pads which cost than a couple of bucks to produce. This product is a rip off. The company should be shut down for fraud as they never tell the patients how much their product cost or that you can buy similiar products for uner $100.00 that does the same thing. This is why there is so much over regulation in this country. Because of companies like Zynex who are taking advantage of the consumers, who do not even know what you are charging. That should be criminal

"This Guy" is full of it...

He posted a similar bogus reply in my complaint.  I can attest that the person that posted this is telling the truth, because I ALSO RECEIVED A CHARGE FOR $4000.

What "this guy" is not telling you, is that this company does not tell you they will charge you $4000 up front..when they offer you the product.  Because if they did, nobody in their right mind would want it!!

I also was given a piece of paper to sign that had NO PRICE LISTED ON IT!! This company misleads you and then tries to milk you for money.

I'm not even sure why "this guy" is one this website, unless of course he knows this company is fraudulent and he is purposely looking for cases to try and save their reputation.

TENS vs Other Products

Zynex does not even have a TENS that sells for such a figure!

However this person wishes to compare apples to oranges, mopeds to Mecedees and more. Why don't they drive a bicycle each day instead of their car. They both have tires, steering mechanisms, gears, etc. This is a ploy to say all medical devices are the same. Unless you are qualified to make such a statement then you should NOT do such a thing. You can always buy something for less. Please consider that these companies have to pass FDA before marketing that cost thousands of dollars. They also must keep reports where each and every device is for the FDA. The liability insurance and all of the expense of running such a business can in no-way compete with some fly by night companies.

If price is the only criteria to this people I can send these patient a cut extension cord with a wall plug on the end and two uninsulated wires. This too can give a electrical contraction and will relieve your pain. Maybe for good!

Why did this patient even go to the doctor or their physical therapy that they were more than likely involved with. Heck, they could have taken two asperin and called mommy in the morning.

PLEASE CONSIDER WHAT IS INVOLVED WITH PATIENT CARE AND THE RAMNIFICATIONS THAT ARE POSSIBLE IF YOU DECIDE TO SELF DIAGNOSE AND PRACTICE MEDICINE WITHOUT A LICENSE.

Someone in the business!
