everesave.com Eversave.com - won't refund money when merchant can't/won't fulfill service , Internet

On 11/24/2011, I purchased two vouchers for a total of five hours of housecleaning services from Green Kleening through Eversave (cost: $78). The vouchers have an expiration date of 10/31/2012. However, the cleaning company has apparently gone out of business - as evidenced by the fact that the phone number on the voucher and on their web site is disconnected and multiple attempts to contact the business through the contact form on their web site have gone unanswered. When I explained the situation to Eversave and requested a refund, I was told that I could only receive a credit for Save Rewards, since more than 30 days have elapsed since the original purchase.

I replied back to the company that this was an unacceptable solution, as I'm not sure how I was supposed to know within 30 days that the company would go out of business before the vouchers expired. The company's reply was that that was the only solution they could offer. This is unacceptable to me because:

1 - there are no other comparable deals on the Eversave site. I wanted vouchers for house cleaning, not anything else that is currently on the Eversave site.

2 - even if I did find a deal that I wanted, Eversave limits the total amount of Save Rewards that can be used on each purchase, so not only would I be settling for a deal that is different from the one I originally purchased, I will have to pay additional money to get it. 

I also discovered that the Save rewards they gave as "a token of appreciation to you as a customer" expire at the end of this month, so I now have to either spend a lot of extra money on stuff I don't want by next week, or completely lose the money I spent in the first place with nothing to show for it.

I would like for Eversave to refund the amount of my original vouchers back to my credit card.
