I found the Hacienda Home Rentals through Craigslist. I was searching for a rental house and  to move very soon when I came across alot of properties listed but no pictures so I called the number provided on the listings and it was 626-968-5000. I spoke to a guy named Rubin. He seemed to be very motivated and wanted to help me find a place to stay. I asked how much was the fee he responded "$195.00". I thought it was a good deal for him to find me and my family a place to live  so we went to meet him at his office at 2211 s. Hacienda Blvd Suit 116 , Hacienda heights  ca 91745. When we arrived we went to his office and was approached by 2 guys named Rubin, which I had talked to on the phone and Jake D. Rubin said Jake would help us because he was a little busy. Jake went over the contract with me and my family and only asked simple information on the paperwork. He then ran my credit card for $195.00. I never new a company worked through real estate agents for rental homes and I want to work for an agent and I go to school for real estate so I started asking questions like if they had license and they said no because they work under a broker. They didn't seem to want to provide any information about employment and made all short answers.  Jake then gave me 5 properties we could go look at. After leaving i went directly to the closest property and called him so he could contact the owners to come let us view inside the house. He claimed the owners where not available so we weny to another. I contacted him from the 2nd property and he said he would call me back. We waited 30 minutes and never got a respond so we tried to call him back several times, he never answered. So we went to another property to check it out and noticed that all the properties had for sale signs in the yard along with a"do not disterbed tenant" attached top it. We asked the owner if he knew the Rentals company or worked with them and he said no. We all felt weird about the whole thing so my friend looked them up on the internet to find postings on Ripoff report.com. We where all shocked. Then things such as the fact that there was nothing in the office but 2 desk was a little freaky. I called the bank then to try to stop the transaction but to this point they are not sure if the pending transaction will go through i guess i have to wait a few days. They are a huge scam.
