In April 2011, I had a prolapsed rectum,very painful. My Dr. from Battle Creek, mIchigan decided to use a new surgical procedure called the Robotic Da Vinnci, however I knew very little about the device although however the company reprensitivessay there is less downtime or more evaasive. Thousands of hospitals have purchased this 2.2 million dollar equipment for use of surgery that can be used with the robotic Da Vinnci, however this is misleading. The company does not mandate training, thous they leave that up to the hopital and Physicians. By looking at over 80 deaths and thousands and 1-7 people are readmiited for infection, tears, burns, injury to bowel bowel obstruction and infection which I had which readmitted twice a total of 21 days. I do not beleive there is mandated training to use this robotic surgery which has incurred with thousands of people injuries and claims as I had.There is much controversy on this and report to BBB AND fDA included, I presented my facts to peopleclaim and they agreed on a 100.7.99 settlement only to retract this 2 days later.Im am hopeful people hospitals, consider the risks and know the facts, injuries and deaths caused these seemingly amazing product. I am iin hope people will not use this and resolve back to the tradtional ways. Unfornately it is used all over and please if you been injured contact me or my lawyer to resolve these problems, that simply the Surgical Intutive have ignored.
