Do NOT use this company!!! ReLoGulf is a rip off company!!!

My shipment was picked up in March 2013 and it is now Aug 22 2013 and my shipment has still not been delivered. After two months, I inquired to where my shipment was and I was told by Rosa Menezes that she had been sick so my shipment was still sitting at Dubai. I was shocked. Then a month later she told me that the ship had broken down in Singapore but she had no proof! It finally made it to Bangkok a month ago and it is still sitting there now. After the first week in BKK, I was told by the Rep in BKK that relogulf never sent and shipping documents with the shipment. All they had was my name. I was told by Phil Davis that it would get fixed but it took another week. After that, I was told by Rosa and Phil that everything was good on their end but come to find out, they were just lying because they had no money in their account, so they say?

Finally after being lied to day after day by Phil and Rosa, good old Neil Price contacts me to say the payment had been sent. So I asked for proof of payment and guess what, after 4 days, he told me they would not have any money for five or six more days to pay for my shipment that is sitting in Bangkok. From what I have read, this is the way they do business. They take turns lying until you give up. I will be going to the Dubai police next week to file charges against all of them! I also want to start a class action suit again them to recover damages and to put them out of business! DO NOT use this company for anything! They are a bunch or lying crooks!!!

ReloGulf Report Validates My Experience

AUTHOR: ReloGulf-Victim - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 30, 2013

I contracted with ReloGulf in March 2013 to ship my personal belongings from Dubai to the USA. As other posters have state, ReloGulf provides excellent, initial customer service, and then dodges email or does not answer its phone. I was told my shipment would arrive in the USA about 6-7 weeks. It has not been *five* months, and I still don't have my belongings. Another person whose belongings are part of the container has been waiting since November 2012 for his belongings. That's **10** months!

Two days ago, I was contacted by the Destination Agent, and it turns out that ReloGulf failed to provide appropriate documentation to clear container from US Customs. Moreover, ReloGulf sent the container to the wrong port and refuses (for unknown reasons) to surrender the Bill of Lading so that the agent can take possession of the container. In the meantime, us consignees are incurring port (detention charges).

It will cost $2700 to transport the container to the intended port in New Jersey, and the 8 of us whose belonging is in this container, will have to split the cost of that as well as the detention charges and paying for our belongings to be transported to our individual homes across the USA -- all of us had paid for door-to-door service, and ReloGulf is legally responsible for these charges. It is unlikely ReloGulf will pay, and that's why all of us consignees have risen to get our belongings.

I certainly will be exploring actions to shutdown ReloGulf, and have already spoken to an attorney with the International Shipping Association on what next steps to take.
