 I was contacted by 1st. United Consultant about lowering my mortgage payment each month. They told me that they could get it down to $622.11 a month. I would set up payments to Meracord and they would have an agreement with the company that I pay my mortgage to and could get it lower. Like a idiot I did but when I got a statement from my mortgage company saying they did not recieve my payment for Sept. I knew I was in trouble. I tried to contact Lee Arthur at 1st United by fax, phone and email could not reach him he did not return email back to me. I was told I could cancel any time and get my money back all I had to do was send a letter. No address for them so I faxed none of the faxes would go through. I contacted Meracord by email got a repley back no problem my account is closed and any money that they have that doesn't go to the service provider would be returned to me within 24 hrs after the Oct. 24th. That came and went, I contacted them again I got a message back saying account is closed and 0 money to be returned. So I called I talked to some one there that told me my account is closed and they no longer do business with 1st United because of the way they conduct business, so longer wanted to be associated with them. That they sent my money to 1United since they were the ones that hired them. Supposed to be for fees or something which is a lie they never paid my Sept. payment so now I am behind and could lose my home. Lee Arthur is a thief and a liar. I also believe Meracord still is associated  with them.

I did contact Meracord, you said you returned my money to my service provider. Why didn't you just send it to my mortgage company? That is where the money was supposed to go they didn't get a penny, it was to be paid on the 12th of Sept. That was the only thing I agreed to do. $622.11 to pay my mortgage at Indy Mac no where else. I did not agree to any other payments to come from that money. If you think I did then you show me where.

How do you get ahold of any one at 1st United? I sure can't get ahold of them to even ask them a question. No phone number works the fax number doesn't work they do not answer email. So how do I talk to them to get this taken care of? You knew they were a bad company why would you send them money that did not belong to them? If you want to help I need phone numbers that work so I can talk to them Lee Arthur mainly if that is even his name.

We're sorry to hear about the problems you had with 1st United Consultant. 1st United Consultant and Meracord are two separate companies and neither is owned nor operated by the other. 

Meracord is an independent company that provides payment processing services according to the contract instructions between two parties. This means we receive, process and post payments from customers, hold payments in a trust account and disburse the funds based on the contract agreement provided by the parties. In this case, we collected and disbursed payments and fees based on the contract you had with 1st United Consultant.
