2B Wireless

(Rip-off scam artist!)

Chandler 2880 E Germann Rd Suite 11 (480)821-7200

My girlfriend and I went in this store for a Fathers day promotion, add a line to your family plan and get any phone for free. Tim the sails guy told us the phone we were looking for was sold out valley wide. He said he checked all of the T-mobile stores already and there were none left. (LIE #1) he failed to say that he did not have access to other T-mobile stores just 2B Wierless locations.  Reluctantly my girl friend picked out a different phone. We asked Tim What is your return policy? he replies Just bring it back within 14 days, no problem (LIE#2) We should have been informed about the return policy including any penalties This would be a good time to mention the $90.00 restocking fee I would think.  I have heard of restocking fees on returned items before, but $90.00 on a $150 phone! Thats like 60%. They claim it is 20% of the full blown retail price. This is not written anywhere! The only thing pertaining to a restocking fee came on an invoice after the credit card was charged. It states they have discretion to charge a 20% restocking fee on returned items.  When we tried to return the phone the next day,  Kakla and Flurette acted like they werent sure how to calculate the restocking fee and said that it would be like $90.00 and is based off the retail value. The phone we were returning is unused in the box and the sim card is still unopened and everything is in NEW condition. Under AZ  statute 44-1377, Disclosure of restocking fee; enforcement; definition http://www.azleg.state.az.us/search/oop/qfullhit.asp?CiWebHitsFile=/ars/44/01377.htm&CiRestriction=44-1377

It states 2. Post a notice disclosing that a restocking fee may apply to the purchase of goods and where the customer may obtain the full restocking fee policy. The notice shall be clearly and conspicuously visible to the customer before purchase.

We were not given any Disclosure before purchase even though we asked beforehand.

When I spoke with The Store Manager: Ryan Pestalozzi (480)452-8277 over the phone he promised he would look in to it and call me back he didnt When I called a different store they said they only charge this on phones with more than 60 minutes talk time used on the phone, not unused phones.

T-MOBILE clams they cant do anything because the 2b store is a separate company they did however Apologies for the unfair treatment and submit a complaint about the incident.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM 2B WIRELESS!

THEY ARE NOT T-MOBILE
