My cellular blinds have separated at the glue seams due to a defect with the glue.  The fabric is still in excellent condition.  3 Day Blinds will not repair or replace them.  They want me to purchase new with a 20% discount.

I have the original receipt.  It states on the back that "3 Day Blinds will repair or replace any part of the blind found to be defective in materials or workmanship at no cost to you", "This warranty is limited to the original consumer purchaser of the blinds.  There is no time limit to our warranty."

Here is what they replied with, "I am sorry sir but the blind is out of warranty, and the cells separation comes over time"

I will never buy from them again.

Still living at the same address that is listed on the receipt.  There has been no other offer except 20% discount for new blinds.  Unreal...

As long as you have read off of the "fine print" and are sure that they are covered, this should be an easy win in Small Claims court.

File a suit against them for the replacement cost.  Most likely as soon as they see the suit they may just pay you off.  If not then take the blinds, a copy of your receipt showing their warranty, and the e-mail that says they are out of warranty.  Let them explain to the judge how the blinds can be out of a warranty that doesn't expire.
