A Star Auto located 314 Warfield Avenue Venice Sarasota has been selling cars and is unable to provide the title to the customers. The most recent customer Dwayne Barnett purchased a SUV on December 31, 2012. I have been making biweekly payments of $150 since the purchase date. I however made a final payment of $750 on August 9 2013 and I am yet to receive the title. I visited the owner Michael Harrington on several occasions only to receive the run around, several calls were made to the business which still have not been returned. I finally took on the initiative and visited the local DMV and was told that there was a lien on the vehicle that I paid for and the lien holder was not Mr. Harrington but actually a company by the name of Select Automotive Management located in Sarasota Florida. When the lien holder was contacted they revealed that they have a pending law suit with A Star Auto because they owe them $75,000.
