William, called Bill by most, and wife Sharon Motley aare pastors and owners of Abundant Life World Outreach Church in Danville Va. When you first step inside the doors of this organization, you are greeted with the greatest of hospitality from the door to your seat. This wonderful kindness continues until you are either convinced it is geniune or they must have alternative motives for why they do what they do.

Stick around a few weeks, or few months, if you're a bit slow to wake up. The pastors talk money, money, money all the time. Implying that if you don't give all to God, you love it (money) more than God. Each winter the pastors have a huge fundraising that ends on Easter Sunday called, "Miracle Resurrection Seed Offering." The people are challenged hard by persausive words of guilt, condemnation and faith failure, by the Bill Motley in his sermons to convince the congregation to give a lot on Easter Sunday morning, with promises that God will prosper them in whatever they want.

He usually succeed in getting the people to give and he comes away with between 50,oo-100,00 dollars. Oh, you may be saying so what's the problem? The problem is that he claims the money is raised to pay off church bills, but there is NEVER any evidence of such. No monthly, or yearly statement showing where the monies went that people gave thru fundraisings, tithes and offrings. All that could be seen is their clothes became extremely expensive and they moved out of one nice house into another one......just a bit fancier.

In the meantime, he sends out a letter to the members asking for MORE money b/c the church's debt is $900,000! I was there for quite some time and this was the first time hearing of a $900,000 debt!Where all that money go that was raised every Easter??? Not much is taught about love, very little is taught about lost souls.

The pastors keep bodyguards around them at all times, call them PPA(pastors personal assistants)It's impossible to have a private conversation with him, or his wife. I never figured out why they needed PPA's around at CHURCH 24/7. The church isn't that large; and the membership is abt 400, which half of that are children. The church is diverse, but that's not saying a lot. There is very little intermingling among the two races. Sad to admit that, but it's true. I feel sorry for the Africa-American christians there, they are being played for fools worst than the White christians.

Some have complained about the songs, but it didn't do any good because the real chief is the pastor's wife and she calls the shots about EVERYTHING, including what will and will not be sung, and who will and who will not be allowed to sang! Of course like most churches, there is a lot of partiality, but at this church, it's ALL about money. If you're wealthy, you will be showered with attention, but the aim is not your heart, but your wallet/purse.

If you're poor, you wont be notice very much.....sorry. God appears to ONLY have time and "a word" for certain ones" of certain monetary status. This is not a letter of jealousy, I am concerned for other about what is going on in that church. I woke up, asked questions, got rejected, so I left. But there's so much more I know but cannot share about the pastors and the money mind game issue. I just hope the IRS takes a closer LOOK at their books, much misused money is hiden under certain titles. Is that what is called mis-management of funds.

Be fair warned...all that glitter is not gold. at Abundant Life World Outreach Church!...watch all those wonderful smiles and warm embraces.

corvette

AUTHOR: lando - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 20, 2013

The author is correct in saying that they do not let the congregation or the members view the books. In fact, the pastors get very offended by this suggestion. What do they have to hide???

My family had had enough of they're requests for money when they sent out a notice to our place of residence requesting more money in order to buy Pastor Bill a Corvette for his birthday. His family was already driving a Cadillac what does he need with a Corvette? This is during the recession mind you, when we are all struggling. Something is not right at this church. It doesn't feel right. And they do ask for a lot of money. They do not explain where it all goes either...certainly not in their youth and children's programs.

The IRS should take a look at their books. Someone should hold them accountable for where the money is going.

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE WAY A CHURCH IS RUN, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 21, 2010

IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT, IN TEXAS, WHEN A CHURCH NAME CONTAINS THE WORD "OUTREACH" THAT THE ONLY REACHING OUT THAT IS GOING TO BE DONE IS WHEN THEY REACH FOR YOUR WALLET AND MAKE YOU GIVE MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD BY VERY CAREFUL PSYCHOLOGICAL MANIPULATION.

THAT SAID, I SUPPOSE YOU ALL MIGHT DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY IN VIRGINIA.

AND SINCE I NEVER INTEND TO SET FOOT IN A CHARISMATIC CHURCH AGAIN  SINCE I AND MY FAMILY WERE RIPPED OFF SO BADLY BY ONE PRETENDING TO BE JEWISH --E.G., MESSIANIC JEWISH CONGREGATION ---  I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE IF YOUR CHURCH IS THE RARE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE.

IT IS YOUR CHURCH.

IT IS YOUR FAITH.

AND YOU CAN RUN IT ANY WAY YOU SEE FIT.

TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER OF THIS REPORT. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WHAT IS GOING ON IN THAT CHURCH, GO TO ANOTHER CHURCH. GOT TO ANOTHER DENOMINATION, EVEN ANOTHER FAITH IF YOU MUST. IF YOU THINK THAT CHURCH IS SO BAD, NOBODY IS STOPPING YOU FROM GOING ELSEWHERE OR NOT GOING ANYWHERE AND WORSHIPING GOD WHEREVER HE MAY BE FOUND IN ALL OF HIS CREATION LIKE MY NATIVE AMERICAN RELATIVES DID.

SHALOM.

Count it all joy

AUTHOR: UrbanArcher@RehobothApostolic - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 17, 2010

You know, the person(s) who negatively commented on Abundant Life Ministries is really misguided.  He/She needs prayer.  I have personally attended Abundant Life and, I've heard Pastor Bill speak at the after school program banquet.  He and Co-Pastor Sharon are true vessels for the Lord.  They do and say as God leads them.

It is good that the Pastors speak of titheing and offering for, when we tithe we are "connected" to God's blessing.  In his word he declares that he will "rebuke the devourer and, open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you won't have room to receive it."  Pastor's Motley know this to be true because they are witnesses to what God will do when you are obedient to the word.  So, naturally they want their flock to reap those blessings that God promises us all.

Listen, I thank God for the author of this subject.  Its design was an attempt to upset God's people and take their focus off him; to divide.  But, as I read the comments of the true believers I am convinced that the letter did not succeed in seperating, no it has made us stronger and closer to one another in the faith.  You see, the devil meant this for bad but, God turned it around and made it for God. For the bible declares that all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord.  Even if some of things are not good, they work out in the favor of those who diligently seek him.

It takes way more than mere empty words to shake the faith of the witnesses of the power of the Almighty God.

Pastors Motley are good people and, I've got nothing but love from them and the whole congregation; white or black. Keep the faith and may blessings follow the reader of these comments.

Abundant Life World Outreach Church in Danville VA is NOT A RIP-OFF!

AUTHOR: Danvillevaeba - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 11, 2008

In response to the rip-off report provided by Jane in Mebane, NC, I feel this person has no understanding of what this church is about. Obviously this person lacks in education, judging by all of the spelling and grammar errors in the report, and as far as the church having $900,000 in debt -- I don't think so. I attend that church and they are proud to be debt-free. All of the money that members, visitors, and the community donates goes toward many, many charitable causes. They use money to feed the poor, they help people with their utilities who are in need, they also participate in numerous activities for the community. Not only do they take good care of their church and provide a comfortable place to worship, but they offer daycare services during their services and host special activities for members and visitors. The Pastors of this church care deeply about the community and it is evident.

They have a child care center for working families and my child attends their center. I have to say that I have four children and I have been through many disappointing child care providers and Abundant Life offers a clean, safe and happy environment for the children. They address problems promptly and really care about the children and the parents concerns. My son loves their center and I would recommend their day care center to anyone who wants a loving, Christian environment for their child.

As far as their services go, they have the absolute best services that I have ever attended. Although Pastor Sharon is in charge of many things, she does an excellent job at it. There are long time, very successful members that attend regularly. Abundant Life is not unlike any other churches who believe in the Word of God and Tithing regularly. They DO NOT emphasis giving as a regular theme of their services. I have no idea where this person gets that idea from. If anyone wants to know about this church all they have to do is visit their website http://www.alwoc.org or call them or better yet -- attend one of their services before you judge them. They usually have service at 9:00am and 11:00am on Sunday morning.

It is obvious that the Devil is hard at work by misleading people or having people misunderstand the Word of God. I will pray that the person who left that report will understand what this church is about rather than jump to wrong conclusions.

The Truth

AUTHOR: Kelly - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 26, 2007

I have attended Abundant Life World Outreach Church for eight years and have been an Administrative Staff Member of Abundant Life for the past five years.

"Jane" you are correct in stating that there is a great spirit of hospitality at Abundant Life World Outreach Church. We try to ensure that everyone feels welcome and included. Our membership includes a wide variety of people from every walk of life. Our motivation for being friendly? The love of God in our hearts inspires us to love everyone - just as Christ did. We show His love to the single moms struggling to make ends meet and the retirees on a fixed income just as we do the doctors and lawyers that enter our doors. Jesus loved them all - and so do we. We have no other motives. Sorry.

In regards to money: Pastors Bill & Sharon Motley preach the Word of God. In the Bible, money is a topic of discussion just as other daily issues such as food, health, and interpersonal relationships are topics. Money affects our lives - in fact, it is a major reason that many marriages are broken, crimes are committed, and people are stressed. Jesus did not ignore such an important issue and neither do we. We do not, however, talk about it all the time. Obviously, Jane, you were exaggerating.

I happen to run the Media Ministry at the church and can furnish you with copies of all of the messages ever spoken at the church. You will find that money is not the only topic Pastors preach about. In fact, it is spoken about far less than most topics, such as love and lost souls. You claim that you have never heard anything about love. Maybe you weren't here on those Sundays but many of Pastor's series on love are on display in the Bookstore. As far as lost souls, winning the lost is our major focus.

Our mission statement reads: "Bringing salvation to the world and victory to the church." An altar call for salvation and rededication is offered at almost every service and we have an entire ministry that focuses on following up with those that make a decision in our altars.

Regarding the Easter Offering statements that you made: Considering the agenda for Easter Sunday - our children's presentations, dramas, interpretive dance, and various songs; as well as our Salvation message an altar call - I'm wondering where Pastor Bill has time to pressure the people to give. Our services really aren't that long. Pastor Bill has never pressured anyone to give to the Easter Offering. This will be my eighth Easter Offering and I have yet to feel pressured to give - and I have been here for eight out of the nine Easter Offerings we have had.

In fact, Pastor Bill always makes a point to tell people that he is not trying to pressure them to give. He always instructs people to seek God about the amount they are supposed to give. If you feel that the people are giving too much, then you need to take that up with God. Pastor Bill didn't have anything to do with that.

So, where does all that money go? Jane, if you don't know where the money is going - maybe you should see a doctor. There is a 14500 square foot facility that the Easter Offerings, along with other giving, has built. It's kinda hard to miss a building that big.

If you do visit an optometrist, maybe you should mention your PPA issue. My father is the Head PPA (Pastors Personal Assistant). He is 5'0" and weighs about 120 soaking wet. I'm trying really hard to picture him as a bodyguard but he just doesn't seem to fit the description. His conduct does have the description of a man with a servant's heart. He has never been asked by the Pastors to do anything that he does, or to keep people from talking to the Pastors. In fact, the Pastors are some of the last people to leave church every service because they stand at the back of the church and attempt to shake hands and talk to everyone as the people are leaving.

So what DO they do? He and his team try to make Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights just a little easier for Pastors Bill & Sharon. He makes sure the sound booth puts batteries in their microphones and that they eat breakfast. He tries to ensure that people are there to help Pastors care for their children while they counsel church members. He attempts to show the Pastors the same love and care that they show their congregation. But I'm sorry, Jane, he's no bodyguard. His team consists of an accountant/artist, a Care Giver at a local Child Care Center, and a school bus driver. None of them would ever pass as bodyguards, and none of them are here 24/7. They are only here for services.

But Jane, the biggest stretch of the imagination is the picture you painted of Pastor Sharon. In the eight years that I have known her, she has been my Pastor, my boss, my counselor, and my confidante. She has never ever done anything to deserve the statements that you have said about her.

When I was only fourteen she took me under her wing. I didn't have any money and I certainly wasn't a "big shot" in the community. She just wanted to be a blessing to me and to help me. She knew that I had been called into ministry and that the road ahead of me would be a hard one. Over the years, I have spent a considerable amount of time with her - both at work and helping her at her home with her children and odd jobs. I've even been with her on family vacations! She is like a second mother to me and her children are like my brothers and sister. She is a wonderful, loving, kind person that makes more personal sacrifices for the ministry than anyone will ever know.

At work, Pastor Bill is the Senior Pastor and she does not challenge his God-given authority as such. Don't get me wrong - she has thought and ideas about things and shares them - but I have never seen her be disrespectful to Pastor Bill (or to anyone else for that matter). In a family setting, she shows Pastor Bill the same amount of respect. He's the leader, Jane, not her.

For a few years she did oversee the Praise & Worship Team - and I was on that Team. Did she play a part in choosing what songs to sing? Yes, but so did I - and everyone else on the team. And yes, she did help pick soloists - along with the sectional leaders and keyboardist. But most of the time Choir Directors do play a part in choosing songs and soloists - that's why they are the Choir Directors. She has been out of that role for about six years now - and I can't understand why you would want to attack the woman that works the hardest for this ministry.

I am really not sure why someone would decide to publish such a "report" about Abundant Life or Pastors Bill & Sharon Motley unless they actually had an ulterior motive.

THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE

AUTHOR: Mark - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 12, 2007

My name is Mark Ingram. I am the Associate Pastor and Administrator of Abundant Life World Outreach Church. I have been a member at Abundant Life for fifteen years and employed for over three years. Working at Abundant Life and serving as minister and member has been a great blessing to me and my family. I have witnessed all aspects of this ministry and the integrity of my Pastors. It hurts me to see this page of lies. It's apparent that the person who wrote this complaint obviously does not know the truth. For this reason I want to take a minute and give you the truth. I have commented on each one of the lies in this rip off report.

Lie #1-Pastors Bill and Sharon Motley have ulterior motives. TRUTH-PASTORS BILL AND SHARON MOTLEY HAVE GIVEN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE TO THE MINISTRY OF SERVING OTHERS. OFTEN THEIR FAMILY AND PERSONAL LIFE IS SACRIFICED FOR THE TIME SPENT MINISTERING TO OTHERS. THEY WALK IN INTEGRITY AND LOVE TO ALL GROUPS OF PEOPLE REGARDLESS OF RACE, CLASS,ETC. PASTORS BILL AND SHARON DO NOT OWN ANYTHING THAT THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE AWAY. FOR EXAMPLE IN MY FIFTEEN YEARS OF GOING TO THIS CHURCH I HAVE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES THEM GIVE AWAY THEIR OWN VEHICLE, CLOTHING, FOOD, ANYTHING THAT SOMEONE MAY NEED.

Lie #2-Money and Miracle Offering. TRUTH-PASTOR BILL ONLY PREACHES WHAT THE WORD OF GOD TEACHES. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS YOU SHOULD ARGUE WITH GOD NOT PASTOR BILL. NEVER HAS ANYONE BEEN FORCED TO GIVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT. HE HAS REPEATEDLY SAID ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS TO GIVE AS GOD LEADS YOU TO GIVE. FIVE YEARS AGO GOD SPOKE TO PASTOR ABOUT BRINGING YOUR BEST ONCE A YEAR AS GOD GAVE HIS BEST(JESUS CHRIST) TO DIE ON THE CROSS FOR YOU AND I. MANY TIMES PASTOR HAS WRESTLED WITH THIS BUT GOD WILL NOT ALLOW HIM TO STOP THIS. GOD IS LOOKING FOR OBEDIENCE. PASTOR SIMPLY ASKS THE PEOPLE TO BE OBEDIENT TO GOD REGARDLESS OF THE AMOUNT. I HAVE SEEN MANY PEOPLE BLESSED THROUGH THE OBEDIENCE OF THEIR GIVING INCLUDING ME. OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS WHY PEOPLE ARE BLESSED NOT GIVING TO MAN. PEOPLE DO NOT GIVE TO GIVE TO MAN BUT GIVE TO GIVE TO GOD. FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS EVERY DIME THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN DURING EASTER HAS WENT TO PAY OFF OUR NEW FAMILY CENTER. THIS IS A 1 MILLION DOLLAR FACILITY THAT OUR CHURCH HAS PAID OFF DEBT FREE. UNLIKE MOST CHURCHES THAT SEEK LOANS WE ARE BUILDING THE FAMILY CENTER AS WE GO.

Lie #3-Abundant Life has no annual statements, Pastor's house and clothing. TRUTH-WE HAVE A CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER. WE HAVE A CPA LOCATED OUT OF TENNESSEE. WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL AUDITS DONE BY REQUEST JUST TO MAKE SURE THINGS ARE IN IRS COMPLIANCE. WE HAVE A BOARD OF DIRECTORS. TRUTH-WE REVIEW OUR ANNUAL YEARLY STATEMENT EVERY YEAR DURING OUR WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICE FOR ANYONE TO SEE. WE USE POWER POINT PRESENTATION TO PRESENT THIS. IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THIS CHURCH YOU CAN AT ANYTIME REQUEST AN APPONTMENT TO SEE WHERE THE MONEY GOES. PASTOR BILL NEVER TOUCHES OR SEES ANY MONIES THAT COME INTO THIS CHURCH. BOTH HIM AND HIS WIFE ARE EMPLOYED BY ABUNDANT LIFE AND RECEIVE A PAY CHECK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. THEIR PAY IS DETERMINED BY A BOARD OF PASTORS AND ELDERS ABOVE HIM.

MOST OF THEIR CLOTHING HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THEM. SOME PEOPLE LIKE ANIMALS, SOME PEOPLE LIKE FOOD, THEY HAPPEN TO LIKE NICE CLOSE "WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?" NEW HOME-THIS ONE AGGRAVATES ME THE MOST BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO WROTE THESE LIES OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT KNOW WHERE THEY CAME FROM. PASTOR BILL AND HIS WIFE FIRST STARTED OFF IN A SMALL APARTMENT. THEY EVENTUALLY MOVED INTO A SMALL 100O SQ FOOT HOME. THEY STILL OWN THIS PROPERTY TO THIS DAY. OVER THE YEARS THEY BUILT A LARGER HOME FOR THEIR GROWING FAMILY. AFTER THIRTEEN YEARS IN FULL TIME MINISTRY AND ADDITIONS TO THE FAMILY THEY DECIDED TO TAKE A STEP OF FAITH AND MOVE INTO A LARGER HOME. AT THE TIME THIS WAS A HUGE STEP OF FAITH FOR THEM. GOD HONORED THEIR FAITH WITH FAVOR.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYTHING THEY OWN IS BECAUSE OF FAITH AND STEPS OF FAITH. THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY OWN THAT THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE AWAY.

Lie #4-ppa's or bodyguards???? TRUTH-PPA'S WAS STARTED BY SOMEONE IN OUR CHURCH (NOT THE PASTOR) WHO HAD A DESIRE TO SERVE THE PASTORS AT THE NEXT LEVEL. THIS PERSON ALONG WITH A FEW OTHERS WANTED TO MAKE THE SERVICE EASY ON THE PAST0RS BY HELPING THEM. PPA'S (PASTOR'S PERSONAL ASSISTANTS) ARE NOT DEMANDED OR REQUESTED. THIS IS A MINISTRY THAT PEOPLE DESIRE TO DO. THE ARE NOT BODY GUARDS. THEY SIMPLY HELP ASSIST THE PASTORS. THE PASTORS EVERY WEEK STAND IN THE BACK TO MEET AND GREET THE PEOPLE UNTIL THE LAST PERSON WALKS OUT THE DOOR. YOU CAN MEET WITH THEM AT ANYTIME. THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS CALL AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.

Lie #5-Pastor Sharon, race, poor TRUTH- THIS IS ACUTALLY FUNNY. OBVIOUSLY THIS PERSON DOES NOT KNOW PASTOR SHARON. ALTHOUGH SHE IS A STRONG WOMAN, PASTOR BILL IS THE SENIOR PASTOR AND "CHIEF" NOT HER. IF SHE DOES SOMETHING IT IS BECAUSE SHE SUBMITS TO HER HUSBAND TO DO IT. SHE IS A BLESSING TO OUR MINISTRY, AND THE WOMEN OF OUR CHURCH. RACE-SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS MINISTRY GOD HAS SUPERNATURALLY BROUGHT ETHNIC COMMUNITIES TOGETHER TO WORSHIP. WHETHER YOU ARE BLACK, WHITE, OR ANY COLOR YOU ARE LOVED AND SEEN AS A BROTHER OR SISTER WASHED UNDER THE BLOOD OF JESUS. WE HAVE BLACK LEADERS, WHITE LEADERS WHO ALL WORK TOGETHER. WE DO NOT SEE COLOR. AT ABUNDANT LIFE WE ARE KNOWN IN THE COMMUNITY AS AN OUTREACH CHURCH. WE SPEND TIME, AND MONEY REACHING THE POOR, WIDOWS, SENIORS ETC. WE WILL FEED ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO BE FED. WE ALSO HELP ANY MEMBER OF CHURCH WITH UTILITY EXPENSES, RENT, MORTGAGE ETC. AS AN ASSOCIATE PASTOR I SIGN CHECKS ALMOST DAILY GOING OUT TO HELP SOMEBODY.

THE TRUTH: Abundant Life World Outreach Church is a church full of vision, God's presence, and love. Regardless of how you come you will be blessed from poor to rich, black or white. This day in time it is extremely hard to find Pastors as good as Bill and Sharon Motley. They love God, and the ministry. They have given their entire lives for the ministry and helping others succeed. It is an honor to work and serve God in this ministry. I have witnessed in the last fifteen years life after life changed by the power of God and preaching of the Word of Faith!

John 8:32-Know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

People shouldnt judge

AUTHOR: Anthony - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 21, 2005

ok first off i work at Abundant Life therefore i am there every day and see what is going on .... People should really get their facts together before "casting the first stone" I mean really come on now.... First off the pastor does not handle the financial situations of the church they have a financial administrator that handles all the money .. second of all they were not in "debt" of 900,000.... they were building a gym.. and people want to have a church with all the "amenities" yet they complain about offering to help with it .. sheesh im not defending anyone here .. but really .. is it right to point a finger when u dont really know whats going on ... who are we to judge?? isnt that gods place?

Very Seldom

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 19, 2005

Very seldom would I respond to a issue with a church, but in this case I needed to say something. I once belonged to a church that was torn apart by the very issue that Jane brings up. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER should the pastor of a church be involved in financial aspects of the operation. A church this size should have a board that makes all of the financial decisions.

Jane says that the church is in debt. When was the last time there was a business meeting with the chruch body to discuss the financial strength of the church? When was the last time the books were opened to review by the body. This should be done quarterly at the least.

There are major problems with the chruch if the pastor is the one writing the checks, counting the offering and spending the money. I don't know if this is true, but if so the pastor is putting himself at risk of being accused of impropriorities. Think Jimmy and Tammy Bakker.

Get A Clue - It is very easy to quote scriptures in your own defense when lashing out at another person.

AUTHOR: Charles - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 19, 2005

Jane, It is sad to see that so many people come out against you when you ask questions and begin to be honest with yourself.

It is very easy to quote scriptures in your own defense when lashing out at another person. However, it is another thing to live the scriptures by grace.

God's prosperity goes so far beyong money. The pastors of this particular church are on notice like many other churches in the United States. God is having His way in your life, and that is why you were able to see what you did.

The religious and faithful that are coming out against you 'in defense of their pastors' are worshiping man rather than God.
Though it does take money to run the church, there should also be checks and balances. It sounds as if these precious pastors have fallen into the same trap as many other pastors do. That trap is dangerous.
The trap that I am referring too is:
Running an AmWay corporation rather than a ministry. Unfortunately, people are blinded by the truth for the sake of their position or co-dependancy on specific people in particular positions. In either case, its all for vanity - not God.
A servant of God forsakes all and does not depend on the opinions of men or women. In their own defense, they safe guard those that they are leading instead of defending themselves. God is a gracious and merciful God. He welcomes any and all questions.
If a church or church leaders are offended at your questions it's simply because they have much to hide.
If you have reason to believe that they are stealing from people in dishonest gain, then it is your responsibility to report them. However, if they are not hiding anything, they should be more than willing to reveal any records to their members.

I hope this helps.

Pastors Bill and Sharon Motley are faithfull servants of our Lord, and want the best for our congregation. From Divine Healing to the fruits of prosperity. We, the LOYAL and FAITHFULL, members of Abundant Life World Outreach Church
will not let this message from Mebane keep us from what God says is rightfully ours.

Abundant Life World Outreach Church Is Alive and Well

The Bible says "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm". God also tells his people that "vengeance is mine, I will repay". The attempt made by this someone, supposedly by a Jane Galloway of Mabane, NC (can you not even spell knowing it should be Mebane?) to cast stones at this church is actually by an unnamed person or parties who have become disgruntled at this church because they have the backbone and faith to stand on God's word. Satan always attacks the best and this is an obvious attempt by Satan's followers to discredit and bring down a church where one feels love, compassion, concern, hope, and faith in a dark and cruel world. Actually Jane Galloway is a pseudo name in order that the party writing this remain anonymous. Does that tell you something? If all of this is true, why are they afraid of giving their real names or allowing people to know who they are?

Knowing these people as I do, I can only tell you that they are the best that there are. They give of themselves sacrificially and are exhausted much of the time as they realize that time is running out for sinners and they are burdened for their lost souls.

The pastors, Bill and Sharon Motley, know from first hand experience the blessings of God. They feel the need to pass on and instruct and teach their congregation how to be blessed of God. Many times this includes sacrificial giving, not only of finances, but in time, resources. praise and worship.

Those who are members of the congregation will tell you of the love that exudes from the pastors, the compassion in that they feel their pain, and share in their joys. Sharon, also being a registered nurse, gives of herself above and beyond the call, spending hours at the hospital with a mother in labor encouraging her through one of the most difficult times in her life, and sharing in the joy of a new life.

If this person writing this report feels guilt over not giving, then he/she shouldn't give just to be "seen of man". If he gives, he is giving hypocritically. If he is impressed to give by God, he will not feel guilty.

He/she stated in their comments that if you "stick around a few weeks or few months, if you're a bit slow to wake up", then he/she goes on to say that he/she "was there for quite some time". Does that mean that he/she was "a bit slow"?

Now, I probably know the pastors' lives better than most. You see, I am the mother of Sharon Motley. It is impossible to live with someone and not know them somewhat. As a child, Sharon was always spiritually minded. She was always active in church and its activities, which was not Abundant Life World Outreach church because it didn't exist until much later after she married Bill Motley. Together, along with a few faithful members in the earlier years, they worked untiringly to build a church, a congregation which is indeed "diverse" as you call it. African Americans and white Americans worship side by side in love and fellowship. There are no racial barriers. These are some of the finest people (congregation) that I have ever found to be under one roof. There are interracial families in the congregation and there are no barriers there either. So what about the statement made about "little intermingling among the two races"? I believe whomever you are that wrote this, you must have a visual impairment, both physical and spiritual.

As for Sharon's nice clothes, Sharon has always loved nice clothes. Obviously you have never been with her shopping. Sharon is a thrifty shopper and rarely ever gives full price for her clothes; she looks for bargains just like you and I do. Much of her clothes are given to her as gifts for birthday, Christmas, etc. So it appears that you have spoken without knowing the facts. In fact, I think that your entire statement is without fact. You just have a bone of discontentment to chew, are obviously jealous of someone or something and looking just to strike out at someone, choosing Abundant Life Outreach Church and its pastors.

Did you pray before you sent this "documentary"? If you had, you would never have written one word about this church. Those who strike against God's church, his people, and try to do harm should beware. That includes you!

Oh, and by the way, oh wise one, Bill's name is not and never has been William. In the future, you should gather your facts a bit more careful so that your comments not be so unfounded.
