I canceled my warranty within the 30 day allotment. I was told that it could take up to 30 days to receive my $395 refund for the down payment. The warranty was purchased on 5/1/09 and I canceled it on 5/19/09. It took them 2 days to take the money out of my account, but I still have not received credit for the cancellation and today is 6/27/09.
I had spoken with several customer service representatives including a supervisor named, David Chase, and I was told that the refund would be back in my account by 6/26/09. I have already filed a dispute with my bank back on 6/19/09 against Access Warranty and if the funds are not there by 7/03/09 I plan on seeking legal action.
I should have done my homework, apparently this company is not even a member of the BBB. I have read other complaints about this company and I hope you all at Ripoff Report will file a lawsuit against this company. I feel there have been too many victims and enough is enough! I canceled my warranty because there was too many exculsions in my contract of items that were not covered. I feel you should not get a warranty from a company who is not part of the BBB and is not A rated company, because these type of things will happen to you.

You are causing the problem. if they told you by the 26th, and you disputed it on the 19th, you may be stopping the refund. If the bank has or is in the process of reversing the charge, they will not refund you and run the risk of you getting your money back twice. You should have waited until the 27th to dispute the charge.
