Acd Direct is not a scam

Like any other job, your job is what you make it to be. Just set your goals and working at ACD Direct will pay off for you. It's up to the agent to make or break your work experience at ACD. On the other hand ACD has a funny way of appreciating their agents and do have their picks among agents and I find them to be discriminating when it comes to management positions. So if you are planning to just be an agent ACD will be a very good choice. Do not depend on acd to hold your hand. You have to learn for yourself and make your work count. Know what you are doing when you sit on your shift and take the calls. Simple as that.

Your report would be more helpful if you provided specifics such as what your duties were supposed to be, what they actually were, what this outfit did to intice you to leave. While this is all clear to you, an outside reader really has no useful information.

SCAM LIARS FAKES - Just tell us who you really are!

This company is a SCAM and the location of the company gives it away. They abuse their employees, they pay below minimum wage, they can't keep appointment times, they don't respond to emails, they try to set up interviews when there are no interview times available. Almost all of the people I talked to had some fake made up name and had to rely on iming to get in contact with their leads or whoever. I worked for a staffing agency before I looked at this company and this place is the most unprofessional, ridiculous, shouldn't even be in business craphole I've ever dealt with. Which is probably why I went on to get a job with a fortune 500 company and told this place to take a leap. I would rather spend an hour in traffic waiting to get home then support or help these people in any way.

This is a wonderful company to work for. They have all the tools available for you to adequately prepare for your job. They are abundantly clear in training of the tools you can utilize to make your job better.
If they were a true scam, you would have provided details of your experience to support that claim.
With any company: work at home or bricks and mortar, if you don't cut it you can and will be released.
The call audits are learning tools to provide you compliments on your performance and areas of improvement.
The training fee covers the time of the trainer who prepares the training for you and walks you through it.
I have worked there for over 18 months and have the most supportive training.
ACD offers refresher classes before each pledge drive as well as team meetings so that you can be refreshed on protocols and procedures as well as be updated on any changes.
Call volume is variable and times are getting a bit tight as it would for most any not for profit organization in 2008. One need only to watch the news to see that folks aren't doing well with their personal finances so that will affect call volume for a group that mostly fields calls for donations.
ACD is by far the most supportive organization when it comes to call center work.
