Adams Feed Store Filthy conditions for animals/ uncaring, rude staff Arlington Texas

I know for a fact that Adams Feed Store never overfills past legal capacity. They are very strict regarding when and if they will take in particular animals and pets. They not only need to be healthy, but they also follow strict capacity and legal rules. If they have these so called 'illegal' animals, they were placed there by authorities. Adams Feed Store has taken in abandoned healthy animals from Vet Clinics in order to find them homes. I have seen their fish aquariums numerous times and may be you should ask management direct questions about the fish or make a suggestion instead of trying to sabotage an establishment. I have had to wait until some kittens were sold before bringing them mine. They follow strict guidelines and then do a health check on every animal that comes in their doorway. They also provide veterinary care at their expense to ensure animals stay healthy. Please back up your story with documented evidence that illegal activity took place. I do not believe Ugh's report.

Adams Feed Store has been in my area for a long time. The people are kind, helpful and very customer service oriented. The store IS CLEAN and always updated. I purchased my dog there which we love dearly. They even screened me prior to purchase and gave me an excellent free first visit coupon to Alamo Vet Clinic. They have been super helpful with pet supplies over the years and even help with solutions when needed. I had two cats that both got pregnant just before I was about to get them both fixed. Adams Feed Store not only helped me remedy my problem with the kittens, but have also offered suggestive advice. They sold my kittens to good homes within just days. I owe much gratitude to this establishment.

My friend owns a few horses and they provided great services to her as well. Whoever wrote that awful report against them didn't see what a great store this really is. On behalf of Adams Feed Store, they are not a rip off. It is a one of a kind store that is valuable to the city of Arlington, Texas.

The reason the puppy was so much older is because they do not let go of animals to kill shelters!!!!!!!!!  The person that wrote what they wrote against Adams Feed Store needs to wake up and realize this. They will take care of the animal until it sells or finds a home. If it looked filthy, then they must have not gotten to that cage yet...and the report was"jumping the gun" because I see them cleaning cages and maintaing that store everytime I walk in.

I have been to that trench of a feed store a few times. The peopel there are terribly rude, don't know anyhting about their products, and are nothing but attitude. If you ask a question, they just roll their eyes. The fish tanks are covered in algea, the reptiles are native Texas species, for the most part, and thereby illegal to sell. They sell red eared sliders that are below the legal size and do not have the "for education purposes only" sign. The dogs there are deplorable and disgusting. They need to be barred from having pets on site

There is one excellent rebuttal already to this report, but I must add my positive experiences, as it must be detrimental to this business to have ripoff report as a high hit in google searches.  I am an owner of 2 dogs and a cat and have frequented adams feed store since moving to Arlington in 2004.  I've never seen the animals in the described conditions, and I frequently take my children to the store just to visit the animals.  I usually see the staff in the midst of caring for the animals.  They are a great local option to big-box pet stores.  When I wanted to start suburban chicken raising, I found the staff friendly and informative and a one-stop resource for this new venture.  There are cobwebs and dust and generally a barnyard feel, but that's a good bit of the charm for me.

I have been a customer of Adam's feed store for 16 years and I have purchased many pets from him. His personnel has always been kind to me and if someone does not like the way his personnel treats them, they dont have to shop there. I have seen the conditions improve over the years and though there are things that could improve, I have seen his personnel continue to attempt to keep up with the massive amount of work that animals require. If you go in with the condescending attitude that you are going to save an animal from these "horrible" people, do you really wonder why you were treated with disrespect? We need to support small business.
