Alliance One Collection I paid a PA Dept of Revenue bill to them, have the cancelled check, but they will not notify the state. Southeastern, Pennsylvania

I was contacted that my PA Dept of Revenue tax payment was overdue. I wrote a check on 10/28. The check was cashed and deposited into Wachovia Money Market Account. However they have never notified PA Dept of Revenue. 

Consequently my return Due me by PA Dept of Revenue is being held up.

The frustration is the constant hold on the phone, the horrible music, the automatic disconnection as they are "not taking calls at this time" , speaking with someone, going to Staples and faxing "proof" that taxes were paid, having them refuse to give a return number so that you can call back, and then starting over in their black hole with their different offices, being sent from one to another, only then refusing to get on phone.

The state should be ashamed for using such a company and NO ONE from the PA Dept of Revenue is willing to help in any way with this issue. Meanwhile, Alliance has my money, the state does not see that I have paid, therefore they are holding my return!
