I paid online at the ALLTEL.COM website 179.99 for my blackberry pearl 8130....WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP>....the phone has been nothing but trouble and when you call Alltel they tell you to read the book. They do not want to take time to help you only send you to the book. When my $180.00 Blackberry Phone starting messing up even worse they finally did a phone swap. You would think that it would be good but WRONG>... the new phone came in and it worked fine for 9 hours when blank and now it will not power up so I am again without a phone.
Called Alltel and offered to pay for a phone but they told me they couldnt sell me a phone, couldnt give me a phone of lesser value nothing. I was even willing to take whatever phone was at the bottom of the line but they refused. This is what kind of POOR and Worthless business that Alltel does.

Since you said that you purchased a Blackberry .. did you try calling Blackberry for help?
Alltel is just a Wireless Cell Phone Carrier inwhich it provides Wireless Services to your handset.
Altel did not actually make the product. They buy the product from the Original Equipment Manufact. and in turn they sell it a consumer.
Since Blackberry is the OEM, that is the first place I would try going.
When you purchase a power saw at Home Depot and then some time later down the road it messes up, who do you take it to? Home Depot or Service Center or the OEM? Most likely the OEM or a Service Center.
Common Sense people!
