BEWARE OF AM PM OUT OF NORTHRIDGE, CA. ON 8-3 THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN JOE WHO CLAIMED TO HAVE A PHD. IN SUB ZERO AS MY FREEZER WAS NOT COOLING DOWN AND ICE MAKER NOT FUNCTIONING. HE HOOKED UP GAUGES AND TOLD ME COMPRESSOR WAS SHOT. HE FELT THE ICE MAKER MIGHT WORK AGAIN WHEN THE COMPRESSOR WAS REPLACED. ON HIS WAY OUT THE DOOR HE DOUBLED BACK AND GOT UP ON A LADDER AND WITH HIS BARE HANDS PULLED APART CONNECTION TO FREEZER DOOR; THIS DOES MORE THAN TURN ON A LIGHT IT RUNS THE FAN THAT CIRCULATES AIR INSIDE THE FREEZER. SPARKS FLEW AND HE BROKE THE DOOR SWITCH COMPLETELY OFF.
I HAD A RELAIBLE REPAIR MAN OUT YESTERDAY AND AFTER A GOOD CLEANING OF A VERY DIRTY UNIT AND BY PASSING THE SHORTED OUT SWITCH ALL IS WELL; COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING GREAT; AND MY ICE MAKER IS WORKING FINE!!!! ALL I NEED DO NOW IS REPAIR THE DAMAGE THAT AM PM TECH PURPOSLY INFLICTED ON MY SUB ZERO. ALL PHONE NUMBERS THAT MAKE YOU THINK THEY HAVE 5 LOCATIONS GO TO THE SAME NUMBER SO DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THIS IS A SUCESSFUL COMPANY. CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE IS MY NEXT LETTER!!!
