anytime fitness abc financial Went in for ripped abs, got ripped off instead!!! buckley Washington

My husband and I had just moved into our new house and decided that we wanted to try a gym membership. We checked out what was in the area and settled on Anytime Fitness. The gym was close to us, clean and the staff was helpful and kind. We filled out the paperwork and started going. About 2 months later my husband had a grand mal seizure and was unable to work for a couple of weeks and could not drive for 6 months. The gym's financial department...Abc financial...told us that we could not cancel due to him only having a seizure because they didn't feel it was any kind of disability! He had never had one before and is currently on medication indefinitely. Fine we wanted to try to get back there anyway so we didn't push it. About May I started having some medical problems. They have gotten considerably worse as time has gone on. I am unable to walk very well, have lost strength on my entire left side, currently having heart and lung problems and I have all the appointment paperwork and "diagnoses" to prove this. I called Abc financial and was told to get a doctors note on her letterhead stating that I was having these health issues and am unable to use the gym. I did everything I was told only to be DENIED!!! For what reason? My doctor's note does not contain the exact words SUBSTANTIAL DISABILITY!  My doctor's note was specific and stated that due to health problems I was unable to use the facility! So I am to believe that my doctor....medical school and experience trained....can write a note to the financial company for Anytime Fitness....people who may or may not have finished high school or college with no medical background....and they can DENY it!?! I am so completely frustrated and ready to take some legal action over this! The kicker is, I have to pay everytime I see my doctor even if it is just for paperwork so I feel like I am getting robbed twice since I already paid for the appointment to get the first doctor note and now have to do the same for another. 

I am probably more angry than I should be but the person I talked to did not have very good grammar at all and was completely rude. She got very cheeky with my when I asked why the note had to have those specific words. No reason..."just cuz it has to so ya gotsta make it say that!"To be fair to Anytime fitness, I like the staff at the gym. They are always smiling and helpful but they do wash their hands of the cancellations and account freezes. Having gotten this off my chest, I am now going to call my doctor and make ANOTHER appointment so I can tell HER what to write for MY diagnoses. Ridiculous!!!
